I applied on OCt 09, u under CEC expressed entry

I am new here and my status is as follows:

catagoryNP - outside canada
AOR Nov 5th 2015
medical Nov 6th 2015
BG : not started

and a ghost email in Dec 10th

Its about 6 months and a week I am waiting without any progress in my application
I want to call them from outside:
should I call 1-613-944-4000 or just send CSE and ask about my status after 6 months?
please help

Hitting 7 months in 2 days, sent CSE last week and spoke to 1-613-944-4000 this Monday; agent dint share any information. Just asked to wait.
It's of no use to inquire about status via CSE or call center, need to go through this nerve wrecking waiting period.

If you dint order GCMS, order them. You would get to see the status there.

bro abu dhabi is really slow.

but ppl who applied in jan / FEB/MARCH have their VO as london even if they are residing in GCC and have already got PPR

the pnly ppl wating from ADVO is OCT and NOV

At least for many people BG check is going in progress or something or the other is happening. For us, our appln has crossed the 6 month mark yesterday with no movement whatsoever! I really don't know what the local VO could possibly be doing with our file.

That's so frustrating... anything special about ADVO? What's causing the delay? Any idea? They even didn't reply to my CSE... :/
I am not sure what they meant by 15 business days. The query was submitted on 11th of April.

so hopefully coming sunday we could expect some more PPRs
