got a ghost email today and my medical change to not need at this time from passed????

there are cases where Bg is changing from in progress to not needed, back to not started. It might just be the same for medical results, a glitch or something ..

what ever it is., I admire your patience..

Finally did my landing at carway border in weekend and became permanent residence of canada.

Congrats! I'm still waiting for my passports from Ottawa.

Called CIC and and the call centre agent left a note for the immigration office and asked me to keep checking online and was advised to wait for another 3 months.

In my case, CIC agents send two notes (~September 28 and ~November 13). The first one about situation with no updates on my file and the second one about the processing time (passed 6 months). The agent who send the second note said that the previous agent send a wrong note to the officer.

Please make sure that CIC agent send both notes.

Don't worry too much, tempa. I had same updates right before I got PPR.

CPC OTTAWA just emailed me saying I need to do another medical exam (or re-assessment) to make sure my health results haven't changed. I did them last April...less than a year ago... wtf?

Is this normal guys?

Call them right after you pass the 6 months. Because it can take up to 90 days to get a response from officer.

Maybe there was something during your blood test that raised a flag for them and they want to make sure that nothing changed?!

Same situation happened to my cousin, they ask because your previous medical has probably expired. In his case, it took so long for his security check to pass that his medical expired.

OMG! I just read the notes I ordered end of November and it says Medical Passed! It is not updated on my CIC though.

My notes also say under description: No health impairments sufficient enough to prevent admission for medical reasons under Section 38.

Do you guys think if I email the Ottawa office or call CIC with the GCMS notes they will cancel the request for re-assessment? Is it worth it? Or should I just do them again, (((
