Congratulations to all the original members receiving their PRs this week! WOW!!!
My application was submitted back on April 15. I was requested to pay RPRF and I paid it Dec 7th but no updates since then! Every time I call CIC they tell me all my background checks are done and I just have to wait. (this is not updated on my profile, it still says background check in progress and ecas not working).
How long does it typically take for them to request PPR after RPRF? It has been 9 months and counting!

How did you get to know about the status of your BG check? I am in the same situation (no ecas, BG check shows progress in mycic) except that I submitted my application on May 6th. I have contacted them a couple of times but they just said my application is still in progress and there is no updates yet. And since I had paid RPRF upfront, I wasn't contacted about it.cat89 said:

last night, i said to myself that i will no longer check my email...
sending email to cic everyday without any reply was so frustrating
but after my long hours of heavy work... i received an email from cic
PPR!!!!!! final request and i must submit my passport within 30 days
they sent the first PPR last Oct 10 ( my consultant didn't receive )
at last THE VERY LONG WAIT is over
