I wonder if IRCC is utilizing the services of some 'specialists' hired solely for the purpose of dealing with applicant inquiries, as the responses are generic and based on ready-made templates, so often. I guess they don't even read the contents of the client inquiries properly, maybe, because often there are needless loads of inquiries and in order to save the time of actual personnel dealing with the applications, IRCC came up with an idea to hire some clerical assistants who might not even know what they are dealing with and are simply clearing the mail boxes and sending template messages back to the applicants (just speculating...).
And regarding the delayed applications, I think once an application gets into some sort of spin and/or is neglected for long enough time, it becomes a forgotten story. I wonder if there are even some sort of alerts for the delayed applications to get the attention of the processing officers. I am not even sure if there's a proper queuing system for the applications. And even if there was, I guess, delayed applications get (separated) into a separate bin (folder in the GCMS), where there is no queuing system and/or any alerts. :/
Or, maybe, IRCC has really no clue and no control over these cases and maybe, some third parties are playing treasure hunt with these file (if there is an adverse information, how long it takes to find that out and/or process it for a decision, and if there's nothing, what are they planing to do with that?) and/or have simply forgotten about those select cases, otherwise what sort of verification(s) take this long? Or, they're backlogged, as well.
