Just called CIC and the agent said he's going to send an email to Ottawa asking them to pay attention to my file since they're taking too much time on it.

Not sure if this is good or bad though :

Don't know what to make out with CIC Agents response ...I called them yesterday ...agent told me not to expect anything before Jan 17 ...on my insistence he told me that based on his experience app with long BG check doesn't get any response before one year ...since my BG Check started in Jan 16 ...its not gonna be over before Jan 17 ....so as per him ...another 4-5 months waiting for me

Obviously since security, HIRV, org crime, misrepresentation etc are not completed yet, there is no way he can see that yet. Though its a matter of time.

Update:

To OP, though i am surprised at 245 pages. That seems much bigger a file. Even with 5 applicants and a pretty large profile (older with multiple experiences), my file was barely 160 pages, and most others are shorter.
