I am the main applicant but my husband was a government employee. they asked all his information two times and we have already send them. still no reasult.

The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration studies matters related to immigration and citizenship. It has *oversight* of Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, and monitors federal multiculturalism policy.

I would suggest to go thru minutes (http://www.parl.gc.ca/Committees/en/CIMM/Meetings) and see which members (http://www.parl.gc.ca/Committees/en/CIMM/Members) may seem partial to your situation.

Especially consider letter to Ali Ehsassi, http://aehsassi.liberal.ca/mp-service/citizenship-immigration/. Note what he mentions on page.

Finally, I strongly recommend group letter, on behalf of long-waiting applicants, rathre than dozens of unconnected emails. Group letters carry more weights and are easier to follow by the reader (IMO)
 
Does letter from MP helps to proceed the application faster or its helps to get the actual detailed status or both ?
