You'll never guess what, sometimes CIC call centre agents can be a little too helpful
The agent literaly leaked to me part of my GCMS notes giving me the key update dates of my PR case.
I've been told CIC received updates regarding my case on :
- 22/05 : date of "medicals passed"
- 12/06 : date of "ECA access received"
- 24/06 : unknown date
- 01/07 : date of "POF update received"
- 10/07 : date of "address change"
The mysterious part is the 24/06, they received something from a third-party (not me).
All of this confirms one suspicion, CIC does NOT constantly work on one's case.
CIC most likely put your case on hold and move on to the next while waiting for updates or documents to be received. Which makes total sense, so they can keep up with their deadlines.
