Any guess what does it mean by
Reason for Closure: Recieved in eMed

It means they have received it and it's fine.

I'm more interested in eligibility notes towards the back that were done at CPP-O. Can you share? This is what will give us a better insight into whats happening with the app!!!

I got my GCMS today. I have a question regarding medical. I see the following entries under medical.

IME Status: Received
Reason For Closure: From eMed

Can I assume that above status means CIC received my medical results and they are processing it?

You'll just have to wait for CoPR in mail they have already issued it, but canadapost will take about 10 days to deliver!

My MR was received by Cic on oct 31 but till no DM status on ecas....donno what's happening....

Note: I paid TORF upfront with application initially but I was nit knowing about bio-data form that time...,

One can never know why some cases are finalized very fast and some cases take longer. There are many cases in trackers where gap between MR and PPR is more than 2 months. Its all VO's discretion when applications are finalized.

Anyways, All the best! If your luck is good, you may get PPR before month end.

I'm convinced they are doing security checks after sending out MR - these tend to take 1-2 months to complete. The timelines work.

You are probably correct... If it makes anyone feel better, my lawyer feels that the majority of cases have decisions made within 2 months after the date medicals are done... I am at 1 month 9 days, Please, please, please finish soon

Got the PPR request just now. They have asked for 2 photos with it.

There is no mention of biodata form anywhere. So, I guess biodata is not required?
