Hi All, hope all is great.

Today I noticed my ECAS is showing a 4th line saying

"We sent you correspondence on July 7, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

They have requested the RCMP on July 7, I have submitted it on July 15, on MyCIC it is showing "Review of submitted documents - Provided".

Should I worry or it was a regular notification? Did anybody else got this notification as well?

My timeline for reference:

ITA - FSW April/17/2015
App Submitted May/12/2015
Med Passed Jun/6/2015
ECAS - App received - 3 lines (approximately) Jun/9/2015
Doc Requested (RCMP) Jul/7/2015
Doc Submitted (RCMP) Jul/15/2015
ECAS - In Process Aug/14/2015
ECAS - 4 lines (additional docs notes) Sep/8/2015

Thanks
Everybody gets that. You're good. It's just a reminder to send it now if you haven't already, because they are about to make a decision.

So is the addition of the fourth line any indication of how far along the process an application is ? cause my ECAS also showed a fourth line starting mid last week

It's not about a decision making.. All groups has the same update. They updated their software

It's not as simple as

for app in apps:
app.update_ecas_by_add_correspondence_time()

People are having this update across difference dates, while technically updating could all happen at the same time

Hope u won,t feel bad, this is just my observation

I got an update on last wednesday. but it was belonging to a CELPIP request of june 9. Many more peoples from different group ( april, june and july)got update on same day. But the updates are belonging to different month.

I don't think so. Two people who got ITA same day, applied same day, were requested additional docs on let's say 9th of june and then suddenly let's say again today one of the two's ecas status has a fourth line and the other does not means that the updates are anything but a software update. I think they are effected by human initiative and not software technicalities. And this is what worries me with regards to my own application....the fact that there appears to be no criteria for processing basis :-\ submitted early May, asked for additional docs in early june, uploaded, still ecass 19/20 in process since august 20 shows only 3 lines......go figure

At least I got the correspondence update one day after people in this forum reported this change, I checked ecas on a daily basis ;D

yeh, it's definitely driven by human initiative..otherwise the update would appear almost synchronous, instead of separated by days..

bear in mind that there were huge draws on March 20th and March 27th, so the processing speed is subject to the load from those batches..

Yes. True. This seems to be the case.

I too have almost same timeline and I am also freaking out now.
FSW Inland - single applicant
ITA 27 March
AOR may 5
Medical passed: around June 5
ECA in process: around august 15.
NO movement since then.

Calm down people. i know waiting is difficult. Even I am waiting. But we must let CIC follow their process. I am sure very soon we will get updates or some form of communication about our applications. May God shine luck on us all. Right now it feels like the lull before the storm.
