I think it's still too early to see your medicals passed. There are a lot of people who even submitted before you and haven't gotten their medicals passed. If your medical condition is a concern for CIC, they might ask you to undergo another test. However, i think you should be fine if it's nothing too serious.CatherineXT said:Hi Everyone,
My ECAS status looks a bit weird to me.. Can someone please have a look at my timelines to see if I should be worried or not? Thanks in advance.
I applied under BC EE PNP and got nominated with the following timeline:
Mar 2nd 2015: Application Received in BC PNP office
April 29th: Nominated and received 600 points
Then I was invited to apply for PR in May. Here is my new timeline:
ITA: May 22nd.
Medical exam done: May 28th
Medical result sent to CIC: June 4th
AOR: June 11th.
MyCIC shows:
Application/profile status: Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of medical results: Not needed at this time
What I don't quite understand is my ECAS status:
1.We received your application for permanent residence on February 11, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on March 1, 2015.
My questions are:
1) Why does it say my PR application was received on Feb 11? That's the date where my EE profile was first created.
2) I'm assuming it shows March 1st because my PNP application was received on that day. Should I be expecting to see another line where specifies the date of June 11th? If that's the case, does it mean that something might have went wrong with my application and that's why I don't see it?
I have a health condition that may or may not be a problem and that's why I have been anxiously checking the medical status, which I haven't seen one. I don't know if I'm supposed to see another line for my June 11th PR application before I can expect for Medical updates..
Any help is much appreciated!!
Concerning the dates shown on your ECAS, it doesn't really matter as i have seen people who the date on their ECAS show the date they created their express entry profile and not the date they submitted their application, but they still obtained their PR. I think there's nothing to worry about that. You should not expect any line showing 11th of june concerning your application, they will only change the dates on the previous two lines if they do. The line you should be expecting now should be "medical results received" after which your medicals on CIC is expected to change to pass (if they are satisfied with the result). Just be patient and positive.
I hope this helps.
