Canada PR Vs Australian PR - Better?

I'm an Australian citizen and have lived in Canada for the past three years (became a PR in December 2015) so I'm pretty qualified to give you a run down about both. Both countries are extremely similar but where Canada has a big advantage over Australia is greater distribution of population...

    understanding GCMS notes

I got my notes yesterday after applying on 21st December - bang on 30 days, I was pleasantly surprised to see it come exactly as stipulated! Anyway, there's not much in the actual notes section, the most interesting thing for me was the time period between agent review (R10) and officer review...

UK Armed Forces wanting to leave and move to Canada. Help please

Any NOC under 0, A or B qualifies you for Express Entry so that NOC is definitely eligible.

UK Armed Forces wanting to leave and move to Canada. Help please

Hey BenRMC I remember Mr Trudeau speaking about how his Government aims to unify Canadians with their families or something along those lines so I would suggest getting your father and siblings who are citizens to reach out to their local MPs and explain the situation, the MP might be able to...

Number of Pay stubs or Pay Slips Needed to be sent

No I would suggest it isn't based on my application (no business cards sent). As was suggested before, I think the reference letter detailing your duties et al is the most important document for proof of work experience. FWIW, I only sent one pay stub for each of my jobs.

After Landing, can we travel out of country without PR card?

The quickest way would be visiting the embassy in your home country I believe. Try navigating through this area of CIC to get more information - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/travel.asp

After Landing, can we travel out of country without PR card?

Yeah good one - I just made it up, muppet. I should have qualified with 'private vehicle'. You'll just need to show your COPR. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=064&t=10 I've also spoken to a CBSA officer and CIC agent who have both confirmed this to me verbally. They are...

Scotsman Looking to Live in BC

That's not true - it all depends on your age. Getting 450+ is almost impossible for one in their mid-30's

Scotsman Looking to Live in BC

Did a quick calculation of the points @derekwj37 should get and I'm getting around 417 to 435 points depending on whether spouse language and education is assessed. This is my biggest issue with the Express Entry ranking system. It places far too much emphasis on age. The drop off in points from...

    WES - ACCA attestation

"Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years" This is the exact wording from CIC of the Educational component from EE -> All public accountants complete a BComm - at minimum this is 3 years of education, most are four years. So there's the...

    WES - ACCA attestation

I've explained this to you in another thread - you are wrong. Chartered Accountancy (ACCA, ICAA, CPA Canada or where ever) IS a diploma. I got my ECA on that basis and successfully have landed as a PR.

    INLAND FSW .... CONNECT HERE

    Express Entry for NOC 0111,1111,1112,1114 & 1212

Sorry but you're wrong. At the end of your studies and work exp requirements you actually get a certificate/diploma...in Australia, the certificate is called a GradDipCA - ie. It is a Diploma. The ECA from WES or any other institution doesn't give you the points! You effectively self assess...

    Express Entry for NOC 0111,1111,1112,1114 & 1212

You won't see the 'two or more degrees' that's just a CIC category, nothing to do with WES. The summary line from WES will only state your highest qualification - you are absolutely entitled to select the 'two or more degrees' category in your EE profile.
