So your medicals are not yet over ?
Hi, No, I didn't do the upfront medical test. Waiting for that only. That's why asking if any university category student received it.

I am sure it will take at-least 10 days for them to request a medical examination.

Did you come across a student where request took this long? I will be patient then :-P

Yes, some of them got request after nearly two weeks, but I think they were applying from some other country . But as you know these people were having a holiday recently and that is also causing additional delay in processing. They only work 5 days a week , so even 1 day lost is huge.

Today one guy from Pakistan got Medical call after a week.

Hi,
Normally, if the course is more than 6 months, upfront medical test is suggested. So, I did mine before applying.
Don't worry. You will get it.

Hi,yes you are right! It is suggested we do so but I got a bit doubtful because I didn't know when I would get the appointment n so on and atleast didn't want to delay my main visa process. Plus a pre-application med is a must for SPP Category students. Also I read somewhere, a medical request is given after the application processing has been advanced to some level. Is it true?
Why I am asking this is because i feel I may hv to apply for student permit again (owing to some errors in form) and if a med request by CIC is a sign of progress, then it may make things clear.

Hi,
I am a newbie and do not know much about the process. May be seniors can help you out on your question.

Category: Concordia University, Montreal
VFS: Online application
About me: UK citizen, 35yrs old

So I'm a little in shock as I submitted my study permit application on Thurs 26th June online (after getting my CAQ from Quebec). No need for medical or police record etc. The processing time for the London VAC is stated at 7wks and I was getting a little worried that it was going to be cutting it fine for me to get over there for mid-August when I wanted to (before classes start on 2nd Sep). Got an email today to say "You have new message in CIC account", logged on thinking they must want more information, saw first that my Application had been closed and feared the worst after theyve had it just over a week.....but scrolled down and saw...."Your application has been approved"!!! CAn't believe it, I can actually start planning and book flights.

The only thing I've noticed is that the POE Intro Letter doesn't have a great amount of information in it, not what I expected anyway but assume this will be on the actual Study Permit I get when I land?

Good luck to all others!

I am trying to find an answer from someone if in a similiar situation as mine! Getting impatient too! :(
I hope a 'yes' or 'no', whichever it is, is informed timely giving me more time to organise again.

Yes TRV is a must for you . You can add that in the last section where it shows optional documents. There is option to include study plan in that .

Thank you
