ha? is this true?I thought they will still consider the dates of filling and receipt of our docs?
I thought they will open the docs date by dates..after july 5,they will follow july 6..
I hope they will consider "first come, first serve" rule..

cause we are not aware of how CC and BD are encashed.. ??

Hi Jijitipie,

CIO office process applications following the date received (first come first serve rule), CC can be charged automatically but BD's still need clearance however it doesn't mean that they will not include our apps in case it falls in the CAP..I believe they treat BD as sure payment since we literally pay immediately when we were provided BD by banks unlike credit cards.

Hope this Helps,

Hi Daljit72,

I have updated your details on the spreadsheet.

Please also let us know your VO and mode of payment.

So far we only have one member of the forum whose CC has been charged. Their application reached CIO on 4th july.

Good luck

Hello Seniors ,

I wasnt sure of a thought that I had so any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

I have filed an application post July 2011 but since I have made some mistakes , I was thinking of submitting a second application .
1) Is this at all possible while I havent recieved any comms from CIC yet regarding the initial application?
2) Since the IELTS original should be submitted along with the application & is in the initial package with CIC now, should I re-take the exam or mention that the original is already with CIC ?
3) Any feedback on the approx timeframe CIC take to return the docs if it fails the completeness check ?
4) Have you seen from experience talking to various members in this forum, if a explanatory letter is send to CIC when rejected by re-sending the docs with additional info required - do they consider it without treating it as a new application ?

Thanks,

Hi Explorer976 - please could help answer this queery? thanks very much.

Thank you NKKD Hortons,

I haven't got a slot to give my IELTS exam, despite practically begging the Institute. This is delaying my application. Unfortunately I can only file by beginning of September.

Kindly explain to me what this means:

"Self Employed individuals must provide documentation From 3rd party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details; as evidence of work experience."

So who is this third party who will provide this work experience document for me? And what do they mean by "payment details"? Its pretty confusing. Please help.

As I am self employed I do not have any work experience certificate. Neither do I have any pay slips or salary slips. How do I present these 2 things in my application?

Awaiting help :-)

Hi Sanity,

What sort of mistakes are we talking about here??

Is the mistakes made seem that you have misrepresented information?

Is your application incomplete?

If you can provide more information. You can PM me if you want.

I would think that all the contracts you would have signed with your client detailing the work you have done for them and the financial information i.e. fees charged etc.

If you can ask your clients to write a letter of the sort of work you do for them.

Think of all the evidence that you can provide to prove to CIO that you have done the kind of work that is in the NOC and any and all financial transactions that would prove that you are self employed and that you do work for clients who are not your family members.

I hope this is helpful.

Have a look around this forum as well to see what sort of documents people have submitted.

Hi Guys,

I would like to ask incase the security code of the CC written on the fee payment form was incorrect but was able to send a copy of the card would the CIO officer check the copy in case the processing was declined due to the incorrect security code on the fee form?? It was a mistake made by my friend's agent & we'r worried that their pack will be returned. Is there anyway we can still resolve this???

Sushicat29

Well I also sent a photocopy of the two sides of my cc, because the pdf form cannot me write de number "0" zero, and my security number is 017 for example...so I only can write 17, however i attached and copy of my credit card showing cleary the security code number.

Hello Explorer,

I am not too sure how I can PM although I did some looking around :(

No, I have not misinterpreted any info - I send copies of birth and marriage certificate and not notarised copies . Also, I did not keep an explanation why transcripts were not provided although I had a reason to.This is now worrying me as I think I should re-apply and not wait for the docs to be returned as I am losing time then - please could you share your thoughts?

Thanks as always

Hi mdwantcan,

You can check with Bank of America guys. They did mine for free and without asking any questions. However, I did not notarize the below said documents since VO buffalo did not ask for any notraized documents unless it is a translated document. It should be OK. Or you can try the BOA option. Good luck with your application.
Thank you so much for your helpful answer. My degrees and transcripts are not in English. I got them translated and notarized 3 years ago before going to US. Can I still submit these copies which were notarized 3 years ago or I need to get recently notarized copies?
Thanks a lo.

Hi mdwantcan,
Did you get the original translated document notarized or the photocopy of it. If you have done that on the original translated copy, you may not have to get it done once again. But, if you got the notary done on a copy of the translated document, then it should not be a problem to get it afresh.

I am really sorry that I do not have an answer to this question. I suggest you open a new thread with your question and someone might have an answer to this. Also, try in the search column in the top right corner. You might get an answer.
