Hello! I sent our application on July 11, 2011 through SINP online portal and received the receipt yesterday July 22, 2011 (Manila Time). We're hoping for a quick and positive processing for us. We applied for SINP under family category.

Hi, just would like to share with you guys that our cc has been charged on July 20th. There was also this additional foreign charge of $31+. We're so happy! By the way, they received our application on July 4th and I think we're already included in one of those 26 applicants for NOC 3152 as of July 21st.:D

Hopefully it will continue until the last stage of the approval process. Goodluck to us all!:D

New Question of Thought!!!

a) CC can be charged immediately so the applicant can come inside teh CAP immediately after CIO almost finalize the completness check

b) BD takes 10-12 days in clearance - means if CIO submit BD on July 22, it will be cleared by August 2. And on August 2 CIC will mark that application as complete!!

My question is that what if in those 10 days, they charge CC of other applicants and the quota is filled

For example on any date lets say on August 5 the completed applications on website shows 490 and only 10 are remaining. In those 10 balance applications they get 20 more with 10 having CC Payment and 10 having BD Payment. When they charge CC, it will be cleared immeditely but BD will take another 10 days to be cleared. This means under 10 balance quota, those who applied through CC will be on advantge and get into the CAP and 10 BD people will be out!!

(mine was BD and im little worried about this, becoz once they think my application is complete tehy will submit my BD but it will take 10 more days in clerance, however in those 10 days, another CC people can take my place of quota)

Please share your opinions regarding this......................??????

takemblues,

Thank you for your response.

Im very happy to read your post. However, this is not clearly mentioned in instruction guide.
I would appreciate if you could provide your reference.

Here's the link, its CIC's official points calculator. Don't waist time apply as soon possible.

Hello Seniors ,

I wasnt sure of a thought that I had so any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

I have filed an application post July 2011 but since I have made some mistakes , I was thinking of submitting a second application .
1) Is this at all possible while I havent recieved any comms from CIC yet regarding the initial application?
2) Since the IELTS original should be submitted along with the application & is in the initial package with CIC now, should I re-take the exam or mention that the original is already with CIC ?
3) Any feedback on the approx timeframe CIC take to return the docs if it fails the completeness check ?
4) Have you seen from experience talking to various members in this forum, if a explanatory letter is send to CIC when rejected by re-sending the docs with additional info required - do they consider it without treating it as a new application ?

Thanks,

thank you so much...lesson learned too...

As you said your application was received on 15th July, if they have charged already then they were so quick in your case.
what description is coming your CC statement for this amount?

Hello,

Can a person apply under 2 NOCS (both listed in the 29 high demand occupation list) if he has work experience in both NOCs in the past 10 years. 4 years under one NOC and 6 years under the other one?

If he can apply, and the cap is already reached for the primary NOC, will he automatically be considered for the other NOC?

Waiting toget some advice.

Thanks
