hi...anybody has any idea how many total 1122 applications had been sent to CIO?....

i am planning to send in 2-3 days time....and worried abt the 500 quota :(.....thanks to all though for answering me and helping with replies of different queries....as soon I send my application, I will update the forum....

No one knows/can predict how many 1122 applications received by CIC, until CIC announce stats. Last year it took 4 months for 1122 to reach 1000 cap, this time cap is 500, so with that it should take 2 months. Last year, for the first time ever CIC asked all applicants to send 'complete set of docs' to CIC, that caused delay for last year applicants. With that many predicting it will take less than 1 month to reach cap, So send all your app to CIC ASAP

Hi,
Does anyone have statistic/info about cap for NOC 3111 (specialist physician), past years and maybe this years? I will not have enough documents to apply until mid-September 2011, should I still apply? Is there any luck for me to beat the quota in this NOC 3111?
Thanks a lot.

hi...for giving input in funds field....i have used oanda.com for currency conversion from local currency to CAD...is this ok?....or there is some official website/process to convert currency from local to CAD?

Hi Team,

I am new to this forum.I am planning to apply for FSW under category 1122.
My status is : I am yet to take the IELTS.Reference letters are in process.I am industrial engineer with 15 + yrs experience.

I found that Industrial engineering (NOC 2141) is related occupational list with Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management (NOC 1122) which is one of the listed 29 categories in CIC.

My reference letter will show the maximum work experience related to 2141,and in someplaces this phrase " provide services to management such as analyzing the operations, managerial methods or functions of an organization in order to propose, plan and implement improvement" would be mentioned.

Can anybody advice that will the above suffice in order to apply under 1122 category? :D

Regards

hi all...thanks all for their suggestion and advises while I was preparing my application deck for sending to CIC....at last I am done and sent my application deck today under 1122...now keeping fingers crossed :)

can anyone comment if I sent at right time before the cap is reached?

I have one question ....does CIS check bank accounts personally...like does they contact with bank account managers to verify....now should I maintain my balance in the account....or i can withdraw amount and later on if rquired, again deposit the funds....

Like Federal Skilled Applications reduced from 1000 to 500 per category, this year Canada had also restricted the number of applications of Federal Investor Program to 700!! Previously there was no restriction in Investor Category

Almost 17 hours ago on Twitter it announced that cap of 700 applications of Federal Investor Program has reached its cap of 700 Applications

http://twitter.com/#!/CitImmCanada/status/91936264797945857

It means that CAP of 1122 is not closed yet. Otherwise it will be announced on twitter.

But i think 1122 cap will close within next 10-15 days

Thanks for the info. wish everyone best of luck for our journey to Canada immigration. God bless. :)

I am bit skeptical about the conclusion.. will they post tweets for all NOCs in FSW? but still I am optimistic, lets hope its still open

Hi, my husband and I sent all the docs to CIC yesterday on July 15, but we didn't notarize the copies of the docs that were originally in English. Are we in trouble now? We already sent the docs 2 times in spring, but they were returned to us because first time the CIC was not able to process the credit card and second time we were too late, the cap was reached for my husband's occupation. It would be very unfortunate to waste time waiting again just to receive our docs back for the third time. Please, does anybody know if our application will be considered incomplete because we didn't notarize the copies of our marriage certificate, my canadian work permits, passports, one of the university diplomas already in English?

Thank you very much for your reply. Is there any chance to correct this now? Or just waiting?
