Hi guys!

I have a brother in Vancouver. The checklist says I need to include some photocopies of proof of their stay in Canada such as monthly bills and their landing documentation. Do I need to have them notarized as they are photocopies?

thanks in advance.

Please send notarised photocopies of all documents.

photocopies would be ok as they are issued in canada so they can verify on their own. notarisation would be expensive to do.

thank you for the replies guys.

Dears,

Please confirm as I am living GCC country since three years, regarding the police certificates/clearances.
Do I need police ceritificate from that country and my origin country as well where I belongs (both countries).

And this certificate will be attached with the CIC application?

Yes you have to as you stayed there longer than six consecutive months and also from your country of nationality. They strongly encourage including PCCs with your application but you can go ahead without them. Only that you'll have to provide them when VO asks for it at a later stage.

Thanx

All the best!! my app reached today 6th July. I couldn't resist to see cap update by CIC, there is no update in july at all. Hope 1122 will not surprise all of us.

guys please reply if you have included an nbi clearance on the first step in your application.thank you.

Can anyone let me know how do they count the number of applications? Is it that all that have been sent would be counted, as I read that for some, they send it back for insufficient documents. Also the CIC says total number of complete applications. Will they check our file to see if it has complete documents, and then take it in, and this would be counted? And the ones with incomplete documents sent back?

Also, when do we receive a file number? Is it only after they encash the amount that they generate a file number for our application? How long is the wait to get a file number?
