one of my friend told me that bank statement should be sent with the application form but i couldn't find anythin like that in the guide so plz seniors confirm me if do I need to provide bank statement at the time of sending application or it would be required later on..and if it is not required by now, any idea like after how many months they would ask for it??

I believe you should send 6 months bank statements ( I guess 3 months would be fine too) and original latter from bank / financial institution showing current account balance, at the time of sending your application to CIC

Can I submit my application without IELTS. what would be the outcome if I submit my application as my IELTS exam date is 30th of Jul 2011 and the result will take 2-3 weeks. If I'll wait for the IELTS the (1122) cap will be filled. Please advice.

Hey Man,

You just wasted an additional space for a valid applicant under NOC 1122. Your application will be counted as submitted but will eventually be returned.

Dear friends,

while filling schedule 3(economic classes), i have one query that while giving your work experience details, how to describe times where there are gaps. i.e suppose you are unemployed or not working for some time. then you should write under occupation "UNEMPLOYED", or leave that time period.

for example a person has following details:
from july 2009 to present ......... working with company XXXX
FROM JAN 2009 TO JUNE 2009 ............... WORKING WITH COMPANY XXX
FROM JUNE 2008 TO DEC 2008 ........... UNEMPLOYED



AND SO ON

I think with CIC's promised "crack down" on fraudulent applications they are going to start getting stricter with proof of funding evidence to ensure people are not borrowing funds for immigration purposes.

If CIC ever read this forum they will see some members ADMITTING to borrowing from companies and relatives and then only sending a bank certificate with the balance, to conceal the amount borrowed, and then lying to CIC on their forms pretending that the money is theirs.

So I think there is a good chance CIC will start insisting on bank statements for proof of funds to be valid. Some visa offices already do insist - but I think CIO may centrally start refusing applications that do not supply statements.

With the caps being very small now (500) I wouldn't want to risk it, since if your application is returned by CIO you could miss your chance - so definitely supply at least 3 months' bank statements. 6 months statements would be better.

Don't worry dude, this application will not be counted as received (for CAP purposes) if IELTS is missing.

It's not mentioned anywhere, but I suppose that moderate score is minimum.

Hi guys,

I send my application to sydney under 1122.with all docs in it.I prepared the docs ahead in may & june.Now finger crossed. According to my calculations, I am getting 69 points. lets see, what they will come up. I paid through credit card.i hope i will make in first 500. CIO, sydney got my forms on July5/2011. but fingers crossed untill my credit card gets charged. Pray for me & best of luck to all others

I send to my elder bro in canada itself, he got it on monday afternoon July5/2011.he went to immigration lawyer to recheck Docs once. acc to lawyer those are good(hope same answer by Immi dept). So then he sent DOCSby courier from canada itself on july5 6pm, he told me the courier tracking no. so i checked today that they got the Package on July6 @12.30.

hey everyone,

i have a question, the instructions say to list the NOC codes in order of preference on the mailing label, and my girlfriend put 0611 and 1122 on her label, but 0611 is not one of the 29 eligible occupations. Since she graduated from university 7 years ago, she spent basically 50% of the time working a job that can be classified as 0611 (still in a business environment tho) and 50% of the time working a job that is classified under 1122 (including her most recent) but in her order of preference she put 0611 before 1122. Will this cause her application to get rejected and returned to her?
