My profile :
SSC - 72.33%
HSC - 72.13%
Bachelor's in Managament Studies -71%
Work Experience - 2.5/3 years
Toefl (2008) - 106/120 - to show aptitude
IELTS - appearing in September 2014
Main Aim : Permanent Residency in Canada
My strategy : instead of SPP colleges from Ontario, I intend to opt for the 2 year PBDM in Marketing from TRU (Thompson Rivers University), work in Calgary / Edmonton during Co-op in both years to create network and gain experience. On completion of course permanently shift to Calgary, work for a year on PGWPP and apply for PR from Calgary (Alberta PNP) under Canadian Experience Class.
My concerns :
1) Is this strategy okay? What's your take on this?
2) how is TRU in comparison to George Brown or Sheridan? How will the employers perceive my resume?
3) TRU is in kamloop which seems to be a very small town. Any idea on the part time jobs (20 hrs per week) during my course?
Thanks!
