don't said that, advice received from this forum have helped everyone including me and you so u should get it straight
Do you know how to read? I have everything "straight". This thread offers no advice, no help, no nothing. It's only complaining. So it has nothing to do with advice on this forum. You seem to think that I'm saying this forum is not helpful, and that's the furthest thing from what I said. Learn to read. So if you found anything helpful in his post please tell me what I missed, because nothing that I read offers any help or advice.

Also I've reported this thread as it's just a waste of my time as of now.

This is not a forum for you to post opinions. It's for posting facts, helping others with their application if they don't know how to prepare, and not complain. What you're doing is complaining. Life is not perfect, stuff happens everyday in all aspects of life. And the people that you are annoyed with bring a lot of money into the economy, many millions or billions even and that creates jobs, it makes services like the health care that you are complaining about possible. Think of it this way, if 1,000 people do the investment route which is close to 1$million right now, that brings almost 1$billion into the economy, and you're complaining? Like I said and many others this thread is useless.

sorry kushari, my bad reading, yeah ur right. I misunderstood ur comments. I thought u were referring to the forum as a whole not just on this particular post. I do agree with u. This topic makes no sense and people should stop posting anyhow they wish. I believed this poster can do better. pardon my previous comment. :P :P

Funny how you consider this thread a waste of time and still have spent so much time on it..... :P

Why r u taking it so personally?

BTW, I dont see anything wrong with OHKIDDA's opinion. Its his/her view (I agree to an extent). My friend is doing the very same thing, and I have engaged with him in the very same conversation as to why he wants to apply for a PR if he has no intention to stay here - he replied, "because I can".

you are depressing.
this is a forum, not a CIC website.

here is the definition of a forum, you illiterate:

A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

That's the defintiion of a forum. I had a VIEW (see the definition of forum above) on a particular issue (see definition of forum above) and i am exchanging (see the definition of forum above) with the participants in the forum.

no one is forcing you to participate. some will disagree with what i'm saying; others will agree. good for you that reported it. i am so scared.

There might be a particular forum to post something like but definitely not on CEC forum... :-X :-X :o :o

This is all getting a little out of hand?

While I appreciate that the thread may be a little random, it doesn't always hurt to reflect!

Believe it or not, immigration & citizenship fraud is a huge thing. This is part of the reason why it takes so long for our applicants to be reviewed and it's also the reason why citizenship applications can now take between 1-3 + years.

Canada shouldn't just be a backup for those who get into the US, nor should it be a place for people to retire too after contributing to a different country and economy for several decades. What the OP has referred to is actually part of the problem - a large group of people who don't meet the residency requirements who are now trying to find ways (legal and illegal) to stay in the country or keep their PR status.

The OP wasn't trying to be rude.

Yeah because from the start it was personal for him, he is mad people "abuse" the system when it actually has no effect or might even have a positive effect for him. I don't like people who complain for the sake of complaining. Also he called me depressing. But the fact remains that he's composing about people who get pr. Well this is Cec only not others and then the post doesn't belong here since people also apply other ways and "abuse the system" again this thread is stupid and I will post when someone tries to make me look bad or stupid and put them in their place.

we are not saying that he is rude. what I mean is that this topic didn't flow at all regarding the purpose of this particular forum therefore it doesn't belong here. I believed it will make sense if this topic can be posted in some other forum e.g General - All Canadian Immigration.

He is asking people to reflect, to appreciate that PR in Canada is something important and not to be abused. I understand that not everyone may agree with what he is saying or how he has said it, but he is perfectly entitled to post it here - it's not out of place.

Sorry but this is not a general PR forum, this is a specific sub forum for CEC. Just because he applied via CEC doesn't make it a valid thread. So again you're wrong.
