COR: US, waiting for 2+ years, 1+ year since everything passed, FSW-O. So no, US or US, doesn't matter. Applications are picked randomly for approval, plus there are other factors like country of birth, NOC, family composition, etc. Some are clearly de-prioritized.

I don't think COR matters. I'm a us resident and haven't heard back in 12 momths
My COR is the USA and I got my MEP / BIL today. AOR is July 6, 2021.

Heard about a candidate with AOR in August 2021 getting a MEP / BIL as well. So I feel COR matters ...

Possible. My mep/bil was well within regular times at the time so perhaps now they are prioritizing Cor at some level

Yu a

You are not the only one buddy. I do hope US residents get a bit more priority as it is easy to land.
What does it matter if it's easier for you to land? The landing process is essentially the same as anyone outside the US. Priority should be equal for all applications IMO

Well, if I get my PR I can practically packup and just drive to Canada to settle for good in 2 days. I am sure folks from India or another country cannot do that. So yeah it matters.

I guess in your own world every other country is not one flight away from Toronto. 4 hours from any part of the world to Canada is the same chap. So I'm sure you are not the only one that can land in canada pretty fast.

And why does it matter that you can settle in 2 days vs someone who takes 1 month?

It doesn't, tell that to IRCC and ask them why majority of US residents are seeing updates instead of contradicting with me, doesn't get us anywhere.
Why don’t you tell me why you think the US residents should get priority over anyone outside the US if it doesn’t matter who makes the landing first?
