Hey everyone, this morning I woke up with very emotional feeling that I’ve finally received my golden email today after 2 years and 8 months of waiting. I would like to thank people in this group who have given me the advice and encouragement. And I’m sure for those who haven’t received it, it will be you soon. Below is my timeline:

Dec 2019 AOR here,

Received a READY FOR VISA email today, requesting me to send photos, passport and applicant height and eye color (upon searching should be the Appendix B). The problem now is that my email does not contain any Appendix B (attachment, link or within the email itself), the VISA office website stated that I need to submit the appendix B. Some people received the appendix B written in the body of their email.

COR: Hong Kong
I believe VISA office is Ottawa as stated in the email.

23rd Nov went into Review required as they wanted to review my relative document and MEC score dropped to 65 as 5 points not yet awarded for adaptability
13 months later no movement at all, file never touched.
Contacted 2 MP’s who approached IRCC which made no difference
16th Nov filed for Mandamus, IRCC refused to look at my file as they are not obliged to in the 1st stage.
15th December filed for 2nd stage in Mandamus and perfected my record.
2nd GU - 10th Jan 2022 medicals extended
12th Jan 2020 Ready For Visa Email

One thing I have learnt is that without the mandamus i would have been stuck in review for a very long time. The Mandamus is definitely worth the money!

July, 2021 - Added spouse
Biometrics request(spouse) - Nov 2021
PPR: Jan 12

Medical - Original: Jan 2020, It got extended in March 2021. I had also submitted an upfront medical for ICT around sept last year (ict never worked out). No request for remedicals yet, let's see.

COR - India. (Was USA earlier)

VO - Started with Ottawa. I got the PPR document with Montreal as the primary VO and Delhi address in footer

The IRCC portal is not updated. It still reflects pending eligibility, reviewing additional doc, processing background etc. i re-read the PPR doc, it definitely asks for passport.
