Still here.
Got my DM last Friday. Submitted Jul 2013, repeated meds, police report, April 2014. Finally changed Application Started Jun 13, 2014 and instantly to DM last Friday.

Thank you for the support of everyone in the forum. I'm quiet, just lurking and learning and laughing by myself on the funny posts, but, a lot of the positive "it'll come soon" comments and reinforcement kept me going through the dark days. many, many dark days.

And, keep the faith - the folks in the forum are correct - your DM will come soon.

We finished the process this morning. DM in mid June via phone call from the Manila office, they then sent my wife's passport back to our address here in Alberta through DHL (all paid) late last week and then we flagpoled at the Carway border crossing this morning. Best of luck to those this waiting.

After a year of nerve-wracking waiting and watching everyone else update, we have just been given our own, though it was not the best news we could have received... I checked my mailbox yesterday, and we had a letter from the Consulate in Los Angeles (which is odd, considering our application was being processed in Ottawa).

We opened it and discovered that they are requesting we come in for an interview only a month away from now. This is a sudden trip for us overseas (Hawaii to California), but we'll make it happen! We requested the interview be in Seattle, Washington on our paperwork, but I suppose they're processing faster in LA at the moment. I have to admit that I am very anxious in regards to this, though. From what I'm aware, they only request an interview when they have doubts regarding your relationship.

Are there any tips anyone could give me? What should we bring, other than more photos, gifts to each other, and joint bills? Has anyone else here already been in for an interview?

and medical received on august 2013

25 june 2014 ( email asking to redo medical exam with police certificate )
documents sent on july 10 2014

still waiting for an update ?? do you have any idea for the time i still need to wait ?? is it few days or weeks or months ??

What is the processing time for Jordan VO? Also, have you ordered GCMS? It would help a lot. Sadly, no one can tell you exactly how much longer you need to wait. Just try and email the VO handling your case every now and then

21 mos is quite a while..Maybe you need to wait some more.

It would tell you how your paper is processed as well as notes by the various officers who handled your case.

1.We received application for permanent residence on July 16, 2013.


2.We started processing on April 2, 2014.


3.Medical results have been received.

immigration asked for a copy of passport in May but status is still in process no change..anyone out there in the same boat as me?

How to you send the passport to the visa office (new delhi) when then request it?
Postal service or courier?
