Getting ready to fly home to Canada tomorrow. Feeling nervous despite the COPR in my hand. Hope I get a nice customs officer.....

Have any July 2013 applicants sponsoring a spouse from the US and being processed out of CPP-O received any news lately? I'm part of the August group and would be very interested in knowing how far into July they've gotten, thanks!

Nice flight!!!! And smooth landing!!!!

I understand how you feel, even I know they approved me I'm nervous while waiting fot my passport. I'm going to feel free from CIC when I walk out the airport.

Have a great life guys!!!

What does AOR stand for?

Hi, I'm new here. And I still have a lot questions regarding immigration application status. I guess my first question would be what is AOR?

Thank you! And the same to you when the time comes. Sounds like you are really close! So good to hear! :)

"AOR" refers to "acknowledgement of receipt" My understanding is that it is when you receive reply from CIC informing you they received your file.

Hi guys, just got my GCMS notes a while ago. I just noticed that I already have my own UCI number. Is that a good thing? :)

I am still waiting for my PPR, our Manila VO is moving in a very slow pace.... :'(

Thanks!

How long did it take you to receive the GCMS notes after you requested them?

At Toronto airport. I've just landed as a Permanent Resident. Please can someone update the spreadsheet?

Pretty simple process. Long wait at Immigration but nothing out of the ordinary.

Once my PR status was confirmed, I went to another desk to apply for my SIN number. No line up there so just walked straight in. Took less than an hour for all of it.

Lots of "Welcome to Canada" including plenty of info leaflets.

This whole process is still sinking in. Still can't believe I'm all done.

Good luck to everyone here and thank you for all your help and advise.

Congrats!! You made it! It's great to be there for Valentine's Day. Landing and immigration doesn't seem long. Thanks for sharing.
