Goring, hi!

If you go on the webpage and choose to apply online, you have to go ahead and select a category , which is family class, or sponsorship or whatever, something like this. So anyways, you will get to a page saying, you must submit a paper form application.

It would make everything a lot easier , the option should be there already.

I only gave my email address (applicant) not my sponsor's email. Do you think they will send the AOR/SA to my email address or send it to the sponsor by regular mail?

Your sponsor filled up the Application to Sponsor (form IM1344) right? You might want to check with your spouse if he/she was able to fill up page 2 of 7. #6 of Sponsor Contact Information. Your sponsor's email should be provided there. Not so sure though if they will send the AOR/SA to your email address or thru regular mail, but maybe they will if there is no email address for your spouse.

But for Stage 1, all communications regarding the Sponsorship approval will go to your spouse's email address.

;D ;D

I wish all of our SA would come in two weeks :)
I am thinking of booking tickets for me and the twins right after We get the SA. As Sweden said earlier and we were already thinking of this, It's better for me to stay with my Sexy husband for 6 months as a visitor. It's not easy with the kids alone, and anyways I am visa exempt, why would we suffer through these months, right?

All I am worried about if they call me in for an interview to Vienna, I will have to jump on a plane.. And for the three of us, my Gosh, it costs a fortune :-X i wish we were rich ;D

IMM0008DEPENU, Additional Dependents

Hi,

In my application I have not submitted the IMM0008DEPENU, Additional Dependents form thinking It is not necessary because we have no kids.

Now I am so worried that my application will return to me because of this !!

Any thoughts

If I remember right, the IMM0008DEPENU is for additional dependents if there is not enough room on IMM0008 to list everyone. If IMM0008 is listing no dependents then you should be fine.

If anyone is still completing their application any form I didn't submit as "not applicable" I wrote "N/A" beside on the checklist as an extra verification that the form isn't there because it isn't required.

Yess, no worries! Additional dependants form is only necessary if you have more than 5 dependants altogether, so you would put the rest of the dependants on that form. Up to 5 kids you can include in the general app form but if you have none anyways it will be fine. ;)

Greetings one and all,
Our application went in July 20 2013. Will keep updating as we go.
I wish everyone well.

If you're living with your husband, have 2 kids together, are from a visa-exempt country and have nothing "special" about your relationship, the risk of you getting called for an interview is close to zero. It can always happen, of course, but it's very unlikely, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. What CIC is concerned about is people trying to get into Canada because of the benefits of the country, not because of their relationship... in your case, you have an EU passport that allows you to travel anywhere without much restrictions, and you can also settle anywhere in the EU and look for work if you don't like the job market in Hungary... so it's unlikely that they will think that your relationship is not genuine. Plus - if you're going to wait the PR process in Canada with your husband, then just update the VO, and that alone should serve as a relationship proof. And - I can imagine that with twins, you could use an extra hand! :-)
Good luck,
Sweden

thank you mrsalvaro :D

I did the same thing and placed N/A on the check list for the forms that are not applicable to us as they might create confusion for the case processing officer. Besides, it says in the guide if I'm not mistaken , to not include or fill up forms that are not applicable to the application.

By the way scos, can you please update my info on our Manila spreadsheet? I received our Stage 1 AOR on July 20. Thanks a lot! I hope you get your visa soon . ;) ;) ;) ;)

Thank you mrsalvaro! It's such a great help to speak to people who are going through the same process.

Being rich would sure make this whole process less stressful! :) Here's hoping you aren't called for a interview and you can enjoy your time together in Canada :)

If I was rich I would buy myself a PR card or maybe just go for Citizenship in one swift purchase! ;)
But, alas, I don't have the money... Anyone want to borrow gift me $100,000? :) hehe

I can't wait for us all to start getting these AORs and Sponsorship Approvals!
These little steps, though they seem small here and there, will swiftly bring us to our Landing!

So my July friends, How many pages was your final application?!

Hmm... excluding the no. of pages for the forms that we submitted, our application was in the total of 391 pages. It weighed 3.25 kilos when we sent the whole package to the CPC-M. :o :o :o

It consists of our supporting documents including such as marriage certificate, birth certificates, police clearance and other important attachments as well as post marked letters, pics ( a lot of it ) ,emails and greeting cards.

It was a lot of proofs because we have to prove our 10 long years of relationship before we got married. We were college sweethearts since the year 2002. As much as we want to lessen the proof because it was really heavy and expensive, we don't have any choice but to just include all original copies.

Hehehe :P :P :P

How about yours? :D ;)
