mrsalvaro or bossjosh,
I have two updates to put on the spreadsheet.
We received our AOR and doc request from Mexico City on November 15.
ecas stated our application is "in process" on November 28. I only saw it today because I almost never log in to it anymore. It was getting super repetitive and boooooooring. :P
My husband has gone to get his criminal background check and he should be receiving his certificate any day now. One of our doc requests was his personal history from the age of 18. (We only sent the past 10 years.) I have to put those jobs on a spreadsheet, he needs to get a legal document translated, and then we should be ready to send it all in. I'm praying hard that the interview is waived and he is here with me soon.

It's so great to see such good news from a few of you already! Positive vibes to everyone!

It's great to see the Mexico City VO working on PR, if only the London VO could start working on applications now.......... :( Congrats ksimental and gamyover!

Hi everyone ;D!

As always is good to see some people getting good news. I've been away because I was visiting my brother in another Mexican city so I have no computer there and the internet at his place sucks.

Then I came back and I've been more than busy :o, the office gets crazy this time of the year and I have to leave everything ready if I want to enjoy the time with hubby.

I got a letter from the embassy so I could do the paperwork for my police certificate last week, after 3 weeks of waiting ;D. Today I went to start the paperwork and maybe next week I'll get it, then send it to the embassy.

I hope after that we just wait for the passport request and no interview or nothing else be requested. I hope to be over with this soon, too much stress.

Good luck everyone, I'll be back to see what's going on eventually.

Congrats on the new updates to your application. Hope they process it quickly now ;D ;D ;D

Did anyone from NDVO get their medicals updated in their Ecase ?

By when can we expect it ?

As you can check on the spreadsheet, some of us have medical received on ECAS but not recently, if that is what you mean. It all depends on the visa office, how fast they do things. You know that NDVO is very very slow, so I guess, we shouldn't expect any medicals updated on ECAS from them. But I hope I am wrong.
All the best!

Good luck everyone for the rest of the process! All the best for you and your loved one(s) in my amazing country that I myself am so freaking excited to return to after 8 years abroad.

Many congratulations! Yes, make sure everything is done before you leave for Canada. ;D ;D

Happy Weekend everyone, its been a while since i posted,...have been checking the forum every other day though. it's already half of december and I'm praying hard that we all get our much awaited PPRs, DMs, and of course our Visas so we could be with our loved ones.

My hubby and I have emailed CEM asking for updates on our application and got a quick response though not much of help since its their regular response that our application is still within standard processing time. I hope that January will be our month (please, please, please!)

Hi everyone!

My husband and I live in Vietnam, we applied for permanent residency to Canada (Quebec) back in July 2013. I went to check his online file and happy to see that they added the following notes:
-we have started treating your demand the 29th of november 2013
-we have received your medical files

Is that quick or what? What knd of update do you think I should be expecting to receive next? Any more details would be great.
Hoping my husband and I may be back in Canada just in time for the Francopholies and Jazz Festivals in Montreal, Summer 2014 :D
Thanks all.

Actually after writing this last post i received mail from the office in singapore stating:

your appication for [permanent resident visa is nearly complete. in order to proceed towards with issurance of your p.r visa with minimal delay, you must follow the steps outlined below

...blablabla...

you are also required to submit additional documents to our office. the required documents are listed below. you will want to begin prepapring those dcuments now. wait six weeks after completing your medical examination and all required lab tests, then submit all the documents in one envelope, together with your passport to this office.

required documents:
-original good conduct certificate ...blablabla...
-4 passport sized photos
-completed IMM5669

***we were NOT asked to make a new medical exam

SO does that mean my husband's interview has been waived as they are asking for his passport already?!? also, why are they asking again for the good conduct certificate (we sent it to them 4 and a half months ago! This paper is really a pain to get in this country too!

Waiting to hear from you guys... Thanks!
