Hey everybody. I just have a quick question, we sent our application to Ottawa (which needs to be updated on spreadsheet) on July 19 and haven't heard back yet. Getting a little worried since other ottawa apps have received AOR in shorter times. Does anyone know what number we can call to check? We are thinking we'll give them until Monday and call if there is no word by then. Thanks!

My Husband called them numeorus times, and no info was given, they cant do anything for us as long as we dont have a UCI number.

I think that's so weird. When I called back in June to find out what was happening with our application, they told me that it had been sent back and gave me my UCI. I didn't have to wait for any paperwork to get it; I had it 2 1/2 weeks before I even received my AOR. I wonder if they started processing it, assigned the UCI, and then realized that we were missing something?

Hi mr. salvaro.. I've got my medical done last June 6, 2013.. And my the physician said that the result were forwarded already at Canadian Embassy. I had my medicaldone before we filed and just submitted the upfront medical notification. I'm bound for Saskatchewan.. And you?

I updated again your info on the spreadsheet.
My medicals was done at June 13 at IOM in Makati. Where did you have your medicals?
Anyway, I am bound to Coquitlam in British Columbia where my husband lives.

Yeah, I also think it's weird.They should have at least asked the Family name and the date that they received your application as per tracking no. Or maybe they just need more time to assess your Sponsor because you have dependents coming with you.

You could suggest to your husband that next time he calls CIC to mention the Family Name and emphasize that your sponsor cannot provide the UCI because they haven't issued anything sand that there were no AOR till now on the 30th day of your application.

Oh dear, don't lose hope. This will pass in God's perfect time. You'll be over Stage 1...just wait for it sis.

Mine says 'decision made' as well. But It doesn't mention anything about medicals yet.

Also, as you may remember, I have this name issue. My wife(sponsored person) name is mentioned as birth name. I sent email to CPC-M couple of times and didn't hear anything. The name on file still says the birth name.

So I sent an inquiry to the VO in Colombo and also sent a Fax to CPC-M. Hopefully they correct their mistake.

Hi guys, I just checked my ecas right now and it says decision made for the sponsorship and that medical results has been received already.
Does that mean that our papers are already in the visa office and was opened already??

I think I was able to check the updates 3 days after AOR.

Hi All,

Kind of good news I guess... I made my husband call them again, because three days before they told us to call after the 29th day... So he did call on the 30th day right in his morning....
SO, THEY made not one, but two mistakes.... THEY entered the email address wrong into the computer.... Instead of an l they put 1 ..... Plus they put his birthdate wrong..... Although everything we entered was correct in the forms... So they gave the UCI number and he has to email his correct birthdate back, which is pretty odd because they have everything there correctly, the forms and the documents showing his details...
Never mind ???
My Gosh....
But it will be fine from now, I hope....
