Totaly agree. And other problem is wrong histroy told to kids in pakistans about india or hindus.

agar app tareik ko barbaad karoga to tareik app ko barbaad kardage.

srilanka and china are our best friends of pakistan. so obviously what would you do if you are pakistan? would you ever want to end up your friendship with your loved ones? India has a great friendship with Russia and they have always bought weapons from them. On the other hand Pakistan buys them from China and support srilanka. so everybody likes their own benefits isn't it?

bro its not about friendship it is about what is worng and right. I would request u see that histroy channel show and then put a hand on ur heart and tell me who u r in faver off.
I would say when pakistan is born then pakistans greatest friend is amrieka(punjabi) pk buy wapens money and every things else.but today u know better . So u can not say about china anything. I read some where in yahoo china is not taking any local pak workers in projects in pak even they r using food of china only.
So we should make friendships but do'nt loose self esstem or local interest.

I don't think that is true at all. Kids in Pakistan don't grow up hating Indians, in fact, and this is widely known, kids in Pakistan grow up worshiping Bollywood films and actors. Our own actors can't wait to collaborate with Bollywood.

I personally can't stand Bollywood (not for political reasons, just haven't got the taste for it) but every Pakistani I know is a huge fan. But yes, history does breed contempt. I think its been better lately.

Shames me to say it but Pakistani kids these days are probably being taught anti-American slogans rather than anti-Indian ones.


All of this is besides the point of course, anyone with a dozen brain cells or so should be able to figure out this thread had nothing to do with Pak-India, or Pak-China or even Pak-SriLanka relations. If the title still doesn't give it away, let me repeat it here, we are discussing prospects of a Pakistani students/immigrants moving out and settling abroad, as well as their experiences. Kindly start your own topics for alternative discussions. This only applies to some posters here, you know who you are.

bro I didn't even went through the links to c whats in there. Brother I don't really care what happens around us and you too shouldn't. We should only concentrate on our studies and future prospects. Just spend your energies on planning to make your future brighter & settle in Canada.
By critisizing one another there is no fruit. caz we have been talking against each other for the last 66 years but no one gets anything apart from politicians. No one cares about a common man. We are all humans we are all the same. Its just the governments that play for their own goods. Remember no body wants war . every common man wants peace for their families. Its just politicians who don't care about common men. It is simply a waste of time. Unless we are politicians we ain't know anything.

Brother listen you are just wasting your time on thinking that how I will be treated in canada. Don't worry there is nothing like that whether pakistani or indian. It depends on what you are by your own self , what skills you got, what education you got and how well you can be to the canadian society.
I have been to some english speaking countries. There is no one who can discriminate you on your ethnicity. English people are good people. Many of my relatives and friends are settled in Canada and they were Pakistanis.
So don't think on which country you are from. this is a misconception. What you are is the main concern here. If it wasn't the case then how europe is full of Pakistani and Indians doctors?
So you have to build your own self first.

I am a Pakistani too, I too, feel bad at times being a Pakistani. But that's life.

You will face Racism, discrimination and stuff like that all over the world. Its not only Canada.

Moreover, there are certain people with this kind of attitude. NOT ALL OF THEM HAVE THE SAME IMAGE AGAINST PAKISTANIS. The only thing you need to regard is that Be honest in your work, respect others, respect their religion, and you'll get a GOOD RESPONSE indeed. Moreover, its not us that will create your image in the community you are living in. Its you, who will do this.

Be yourself! Canada is a wonderful place to live in, and you will not regret being in Canada even if you have a beard
