Folks, please share your experience, what is, in your opinion , cheapest place to translate stamps in GTA. Thanks for all your input in advance.

I don't know about the languages you want but you can go to http://search.atio.on.ca/search/index/1 and choose the language combination and location, then call the places and tell them how many stamps you need to be translated in that language and how much they charge.

Stay away from ATIO individual translators. It's a robbery. How about $107 per birth certificate?
Over the course of years I managed to find a few reasonable ones companies who are certified and use accepted translators:
- http://www.docsbase.ca/ - ATIO, OTTIAQ, difficult cases (they've really-really helped me a lot with my Citizenship application). Ask for Alex or Jason. They charge $3-4/stamp and include Notary to quote.
- http://document-translation.ca/ - seem to be Ok. Used them for business translation. Fair and relatively fast. Have no idea how much they take per stamp
- http://docwork.ca/ - a bit slow, but also not expensive. Should be about $4 per stamp
Normal cost of translation should not be much more than that. Everything above is a 100% robbery

You seem to be a big fan of the translation companies you are mentioning and interestingly all three are the same.
I am not sure if they satisfy CIC requirements as except for you I have not heard anything about them in any other forum/post

When we first moved here just across the border and were quoted $70, 100+ per page I was stunned. We all need to feed families, but not this way.
Babiah, you're wrong. I have used those http://www.docsbase.ca/ - excellent service and +++++1 for cost. We used them 2 times: for drivers abstract translation for my husband and for passport stamps. In all cases we compared prices. Much cheaper than anyone
Yes. Always ask translators for certification. There are many those on kijiji who are doing cheap work and hope for the best without any certificationSeweify said:
