Ahh okay. My CSIS notes were useless too. I applied for atip notes from CBSA around 3 days ago. Lets see.

Can u plz tell me what does it mean by eligibility Recommended pass?Is it mean it is approved by case analyst and still need to be reviewed by case officer

YEs. The eligibility takes place in 2 stages, for an analyst will review and make a recommendation and then an officer will make a final determination.

Thank you so much for the quick response @legalfalcon ....If they require any kind of review than will they mention it 3 months post aor?I just mailed Ralph Goodale and came to know that my eligibility is in progress..When I called cic agent she said ,it is recommended passed, seems everything positive and a officer is reviewing it,such kind of words she used..I was just worried like is everything fine?I have heard that if people stuck in review required that can take time to clear the file..Thank you so much for ur help

To know the details you should request GCMS notes. So if there is any concern, it will be recorded there. Apart from that, no need to worry.

All applicants, irrespective of whether they are applying for PR or Temporary resident visa go through a BGC. However, the BGC for PR is exhaustive as compared to other temporary resident visas.

Its should not take too long as the entire processing time with 90-120 days. However, based on the variables in each application it differs.

Do you know the difference between security screening and criminality? I thought they were same before reading your post. Does this mean my husband has to undergo this security process and then do the bcg? Our application is going on 2 years in January (including appeal) and I'm just trying to get some clue where we are in the timeline :(this is the emsil I received from my PM

application received Jan 10, 2017.

It was refused Jan 19, 2018 and re-opened Sept 4, 2018.

The standard processing time of 12 months does not apply in this non-routine file.

Sponsor and applicant eligibility has been met.

Security checks were initiated Oct 23, 2018 and are in progress. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Criminality has not started.

Medicals are valid until Oct 12, 2019.

Please i'd like to know if getting adr for rprf is a good SIGN of ppr around the corner?

Did you pay it upfront or upon request after AOR? And what was the reason for denial?
Request letter. We applied Jan 2017 abd request it in March. We were denied jan 2018 for a minor criminal record (fine no jail time ) from 12 years ago

The criminality is based on the PCCs and the travel history to ascertain that all PCCs are on file. This is usually done before eligibility commences and along with R10.

The security or the Background checks are a more elaborate process which I have listed in this thread as regards CSIS. CSIS is one of the agencies that is involved in security. Another big one is CBSA. However, since CBSA does not disclose its mandate as regards security and neither does it disclose the procedure, nothing much is knows except that both CSIS and CBSA are involved.
