Hi, Legalfalcon, this is what I just got from Ralph Goodale email,

"Dear XXX - I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received June 30, 2018. It is at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, NS. Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer. Eligibility and criminality are passed. Your spouse’s security checks are passed. Your security checks were initiated Aug 23, 2018 and are in progress. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available. Medicals are valid until June 30, 2019."

Does "security check" mean security screening? How fast can I expect my security to be done? (I also have blank 4 activites on my GCMS notes, which are widely believed pointers to SS) Thanks.
Hi can you please guide me as to which page in GCMS notes to be checked for to see activity 4 as mentioned by you. Thanks in advance.

Hi @legalfalcon.. thanks a lot for detailed analysis. I request your kind help with regards to GCMS notes from getgcms which I received today. I am confused as to which parameters to check which will throw relevant light with regards to my application. Hoping your consideration.

Its the CSIS and CBSA.
Hello, Sir @legalfalcon,
I called CIC yesterday, a lady told me I'm still in background check and there are two parts of it, I have passed the second part and the first part is still in progress.
I'm a FSW-O, AOR: 2018 March 22, cleared eligibility and criminality in June 20. I want to know do you have any idea what is part 1 and part 2 of the background check?
Thanks a lot!

Hello,
I don't know if this applies to you, but I just talk to an agent and she told me the same thing. So I asked what is the 2 parts and she reply Criminality and security and that the part I completed is criminality.

The activities are right above the notes. So check the last 10-15 pages.

Hi, Can I use the blank activities to judge I am now 100% under security screening? If I am, how long does it usually take now. mant thanks.

As a guiding principle, if you have exceeded 2-3 months after your eligibility was passed, then you may be in SS./

They are used interchangeably. All files go through BGC, some get stuck and take longer and called as security screening

See page 2 where your assesment is. Then see last 5-7 pages, this is were the officer notes are.

No, unless your position dealt with intelligence, military, warfare, etc.
Most government services in administration do not add additional BGC time.

Thanks for your information. I thought I passed the criminality. Don’t understand why they are still working on my case.

I’m really confused now! In my GCMS notes it says I passed criminality, do you have any idea about this? Or anyone else who have encountered this situation, please guide!

My application is submitted in a different program from yours, so what applies to mine does not necessarily apply to yours,
however I am in ss and I passed my criminality since february and saw it in my April GCMS notes. Last monday I receive my CSIS ATIP and csis finished their part and sent a recommendation to CBSA since september. I wonder if the agent did not misinform me. Maybe she confused "background checks two parts" criminality and security and "security screening two parts" csis and cbsa... In this case she must have seen thas csis is over.

I want to know that i got ADR from IRCC that provide again PCC, Travel history, height eye color passport bio page, family information, background declaration, all these forms they requested again after year kindly suggest why they requested again after long delay.
