At 436, I tried to complete an old diploma and spend time and money.

I finished and started ECA update, got my ECA from WES yesterday. everything was ok, till they added (one semester).

Are you sure the courses taken/credits are the same of your friend? Even if it's the same certificate they also evaluate the transcripts (name of courses, credits etc..)

It takes the same number of courses to earn the certificate, it is standardized.

Now that 441s are fully cleared, I just took a quick glance at the 2017 draws to find out from when folks are waiting on each CRS between 431-440. This might help us in forecasting how many draws it will take to clear each CRS in coming months (without hiccups or miracles).
440 - Dec 30 2017 (draw held on May 23 2018)
439 - Oct 19 2017 (draw -Nov 15 2017)
436,437,438 - Oct 18 2017 (draw -Oct 18 2017)
433,434,435 - Sep 20 2017 (draw- Sep 20 2017)
431,432 - May 31 2017 (draw - May 31 2017 with cut-off 413)

So, after 440s are hopefully cleared in next draw, may take 1.5 draws for each CRS from 439 till 436 (assuming equal distribution, which may not be correct). 435 till 433 may take 2 draws each to clear off. So, 13 draws to reach the end of 433. Assumption of same draw size 3500 and fortnightly draws obviously.

Below 433, looks a little difficult frankly. I am not sure though what will happen to those waiting for 1 year, will their profiles automatically expire and they have to create new profiles?

Dude sorry to hear this. It's so frustrating!

WES guys are no non responsive. They take a week or two to respond even! And sometimes they forget to respond. I hope your issue gets resolved soon!

That's an insightful analysis. Yes the one year guys have to recreate the profile but most of them will have 5 points reduced due to birthdays...

Guys, my current CRS score is 435 with an overall CLB score of 9. If I can somehow manage to get a CLB 10, my CRS score would jump to 441 points. Do you think it's worth giving IELTS again (this would be my 3rd time)?

My NOC is 2174, and I have some hope that the cut-off will drop to 435 or lower, or OINP would start issuing NOIs under the HCP stream again - this is the only thing stopping me from giving the IELTS again.

depends on where you located. in the States all test center are at least 2 month out, some are 5 month out.
if it is easy to take the exam for you, you can wait, otherwise book your exam now and fast. because if later on you want to take the exam again you might have to wait longer time period. for me exam strategy is always book 1 extra and wait result to come out then if I pass then cancel the upcoming exam, which only loose $60/$50 dollars depends on the test center. for 2 times I have to travel 200 miles to go to another state to get the exam done.

but it is definitely worth taking ielts over and over again. I have jumped from
all CLB 9 to
L CLB12 and R CLB12, W CLB 10 and S CLB10

I would say take ielts take until you have at least 3 CLB 10

Dude don't take chances and go for another IELTS. Things are really unpredictable
