Could you please help me figure this out:
Until last week my criminality status was passed. Today I called agent again and was told that my criminality is passed PCC not yet verified. Is this an unusual status?
p.s. my AOR is june 2021
Eligibility: Not Started
Security:Not started

Hello @legalfalcon, I have dropped you a priviate message as well but my application was rejected being incomplete and reason given is "completed Education Credential Assessment (ECA) issued for immigration purposes was not included with your electronic application"

I'm 100% sure it was part of other education documents that I combined, can you please advise?

Hi @legalfalcon, a friend of mine got his PR visa recently. His final destination is Halifax Nova Scotia but he has a layover connecting flight in Montreal Airport. He is confused if the immigration office at Montreal Airport can finalize his immigration stuff even if Montreal is not his final destination or immigration province? Would be thankful if you can provide a useful feedback.

You can land at any Port of Entry, including Quebec to confirm your PR status. When you are processed at PoE, the officer will ask you for the final destination.

As long as you do not intend to reside in QC, you need not be concerned. To reside in QC, you have to be a QC PNP.

I moved to UAE for work after lodging the PR application from my country. But on recent gcms notes I noticed that CoR is not updated as UAE. Should I inform IRCC about this?

If you changed your address, you have to update you address with IRCC by sending a webform

I am worried about causing further delays because of error in my documents.

@legalfalcon please is it necessary to update your address with IRCC if you change your location? Does it effect the application in any means either you update or not?

I am AOR April 2020 and just recieved an ADR for updated PCC as well as POF and have 30 days to submit these Doc. The PCC shouldnt be a problem to obtain however I have a little concern about the updated POF (3 months Statements, documentation for source of funds etc) The thing is I had the funds in my account untouched for most of 2020 through to 2021 until August 2021 when I did not receive any updates and there was no movement on my file. I decided to use about 3k CAD of the 13 500 CAD I provided as POF pre-AOR towards tuition for short diploma program in my country as I couldnt just sit idle and not develop myself while waiting for IRCC. Back then I had received 4000 CAD as a gift deed from my mother and provided all supporting documents. My question is, now that I need to top up the current balance 10500 CAD with the 3k CAD will it be a problem if I get another gift deed from my mother once again? Is that something I could get a refusal for since I used some of the money while waiting for PPR?

AORJan 19 - Eligibility Passed, My current company changes its name from A to B. Now CIC requested to update the schedule A in which do I need to mention the new company name and submit the LOE with additional documents or no need. My reference letter which was submitted in Jan 19 is with the old company name.

I have got my NSPNP occupation on demand stream approved, sending my work permit application in a few days thru an agency. I have a couple of questions i hope you can clarify.

1. What is the probability that my work permit /PR get refused or denied at the ircc stage? given that i have already been nominated by a Canadian province? Does it hold value and/or guarantees approval?
2. Do they recheck the documents i used on my PNP application?
3. Do they use WES to verify my education?
4. Doesn’t the PNP do their own security, education and background check? Or just the ircc?

Hello, I have just received an email requesting IMM5406 and schedule A. Can someone @legalfalcon or anyone else who can help please advise me where to find these updated forms. I am also 8 months pregnant so will not be able to fly once COPR is issued, however would anyone suggest adding a letter to state I am pregnant and will add on baby along with other documents once baby is here? Or should I go ahead and do the above forms for my husband and myself.
