Hello, I have just received an email requesting IMM5406 and schedule A. Can someone @legalfalcon or anyone else who can help please advise me where to find these updated forms. I am also 8 months pregnant so will not be able to fly once COPR is issued, however would anyone suggest adding a letter to state I am pregnant and will add on baby along with other documents once baby is here? Or should I go ahead and do the above forms for my husband and myself.

Been a brutal wait as it has been for everyone but receiving the email this morning has lifted me! Thanks in advance!
@MinaaySangha https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides.html you can find the forms here. you can inform ircc once the baby is born - there is no need to inform beforehand.

Thank you! I was just worried that if we receive our PR in the next month and if it only allows 3 months to travel - that will not be sufficient time to add baby on to re issue a new PR. I just don't want any further complications or delays. Been waiting for so long - as has everyone else but would like to do it the most efficient way.

Recently our file transferred to Winnipeg .since then eCas status is application received. iRcc said criminality, eligibility, info sharing, background check nothing started . How do we bring. Momentum in our file ? Can we write to visa officer and ask update or write to Winnipeg visa office and request movement on file . Please advise this wait is killing me …

@legalfalcon Hello Legal Falcon, what does it mean "due date pushed back for 30 days"? I have two notes, one from Nov 2021, other from Jan 2022, my remed passed almost 50 days ago.

If you have received the PR, then the file is approved and it is just a matter of time before the PPR instructions are sent to your spouse.

Due dates are mostly system-generated dates before which a task has to be done and these dates remind the officer of the pending task. Dates can be manually pushed back and forward.

There is no way to expedite the process or bing momentum. You will have to wait. Also, it takes 6-12 months of an average application to be processed.

If you have been asked for documents or forms, you have to submit them.

As regards the baby, you can only add the baby after the baby is born and not in anticipation.

If you have not been issued a COPR yet, you are just assuming that once the documents are submitted the COPR will come the next day. Even if the COPR is issued, you can inform IRCC that you cannot travel.

Hi @legalfalcon , how are you. I would like to ask. when I check my Ecas Login this morning to check the status of my application, it says "Decision Made", but when I check in my GCKey, there is no update. what does that mean or indicates? thank you very much
ECAS is an outdated system. Rely on your GC key. Also, a decision made on ECAS means that a decision on the file is made, however, in GCKey you will see approved only when the COPR is issued.

Hi @legalfalcon
I have got my NSPNP occupation on demand stream approved, sending my work permit application in a few days thru an agency. I have a couple of questions i hope you can clarify.

1. What is the probability that my work permit /PR get refused or denied at the ircc stage? given that i have already been nominated by a Canadian province? Does it hold value and/or guarantees approval?
2. Do they recheck the documents i used on my PNP application?
3. Do they use WES to verify my education?
4. Doesn’t the PNP do their own security, education and background check? Or just the ircc?

Hope to hear from you. Thank you

1, Just because you received a PNP nomination does not mean that your PR application will be approved as well. They are separate processes and each application, PR, WP etc. is processed on it own merits.

2. No, but can ask for verification of nomination, and the documents you submit for PNP are different from documents for IRCC. Provinces process the application pursuant to the Provincial immigration laws whereas IRCC processes the application pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

3. WES will be used to verify the points you have claimed for your education.

4. BGC is only done by IRCC and not by a Province.

Hello @legalfalcon

Hope you are doing well.

Can you advise if one can land and return back as soon as possible post completing landing formalities in current situation ?
YEs, as long as you follow the public health guidelines and if you do not have to quarantine.
