Hi @legalfalcon

I have submitted a PR application under CEC which was received by IRCC on October 5, 2021. I am visiting Bangladesh and will be outside of Canada from December 3 to 31, 2021. I have a valid passport, open work permit, and temporary resident visa and will be able to return to Canada. If I happen to receive the PR confirmation portal email while in Bangladesh, will it be possible for me to return to Canada and then submit the requested information, confirming I am in Canada?

Thank you very much for you help.

YEs, you can travel back to Canada using the TRV and then reply to the email.

Just getting an email has no impact on your TRV.

Hi @legalfalcon. A question about PoF. Do you think that a final balance of U$D 11500 and a 6 months average balance of U$D 10232.16 would be good to go just with the bank letter? or is it the final balance too higher than the average balance that will raise suspicions and I would need a gift deed?

Hi @legalfalcon

I an FSW outland Aor august 2019 applicant. While waiting for the processing of my application, I decided to also apply for a student visa (dual intent) via Student direct stream (SDS). Currently, Student Visa SDS is taking 2-3 months from the usual 20 days processing. I want to ask if it is okay to fly to the US as a tourist and wait for my student permit SDS results there? Can I process my approved PPR of my student visa in the US? Or do I need to fly back home to my home country(philippines) when appoved for PPR of my student visa?

hope you can give your advice on this.thank you very much.

@legalfalcon can you please advise if the dependent copr expiry(passport stamped) date tagged to the medical expiry date?

Usually, the COPR/PR visa is no issued beyond the medical expiry of the passport expiry, whichever happens first. However, on a case-by-case basis, IRCC can make exceptions.

SDS is only available to residents of some countries. So there is a pre-requisite of being residing in those countries when you apply.

If you are not from a visa-exempt country, you will have to update your address with IRCC to be able to submit your passport when you are in another country.

The minimum funds should also be reflected in the 6 monthly average balance.
