Hi @legalfalcon.
I have a question about foreign work experience.
I have the work experience letter with all the requirements asked by ircc.
I also wanted to add a bank document that shows all the salary deposits given from my company. The problem is that the first 4 months I was paid in cash and I don't have any proof of that. My work experience letter says that I started working on January 2 of 2018, but the first deposit in my bank account is on May 2018.
I was thinking about writing a letter of explanation saying the truth about that. Do you think that's a good idea? Or should I avoid adding that bank document and just upload the work experience letter?

Is for the fsw stream by the way.

Is your spouse in Canada. If so, have you updated your spouse's address?
My spouse is in India. I have added her on my application on May 04 2021 but her name never got reflected on my gckey account. I have sent multiple webforms and calls to check whether they have received her documents or no everytime they said they have received the documents and it will take to complete the process because of covid process is slow they also confirmed through webform reply. Yesterday I got my copr but she didn't received any ppr.

My timeline as follows:
June 2020 AR
Feb 2021 AOR
April 2021 Medical passed
April 2021 got Married and Requested to add spouse and received an email with bunch of documents to submit
April 2021 ADR & Biometrics
May 2021 submitted spouse documents
Nothing since after
Followed up with calls and webforms to check on spouse files they mentioned they are actively working on it
Aug 2021 PAL & COPR only for me (principal applicant)

Please suggest something. I have no idea what to do now

Hello @legalfalcon , I recently got ECOPR on 16th Aug but my photo on portal is still under review with IRCC, Now I have to travel back home and also have booked my flight which can not be extended due to some personal reasons, so is there any way we can request IRCC to expedite PR card application, thanks in advance. Normally how much time its taking at present in receiving PR Card after ECOPR, your help is appreciated.

If you are outside Canada the only requirement is that you have a work reference letter. There is no need for any bank deposits or salary slips.

If you submit any bank deposits, you do not have to submit all, you can only submit some.

Only if you are in Canda, you have have to submit NOA and T4s.

You can surely send a web form and request. If you do not receive a PR card before you leave, you will have to apply for a PRTD to return to Canada.

Hi Legalfalcon,

I had my medicals on 6th Aug, and the doctor has sent the report to IRCC on the 11th Aug.

The panel physician did not ask for any further tests, so I’m assuming I must be okay?

my question is, can IRCC come later and ask for more tests? Even though the panel physician hasn’t raised any flags?

Yes, if any of your reports are abnormal or outside the spectrum, IRCC can ask for additional tests. It is the IRCC health branch that makes the decision. However, you have a right to ask for your medical report as well as ask the panel physician if everything was in order.

In most cases, the panel physician would let you know if there is anything concerning.

Hi @legalfalcon

I've a situation I need help with. I wasn't sure about answering the following question while submitting my application:

Has Gurpreet Singh ever been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

I answered No. But just today found out that the answer should be Yes. I have a US visa refusal from October 2019.

I submitted a web form today only asking them to update the response to Yes and added an LOE with a a one line explanation (same reason as for "Has Gurpreet Singh ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?").

Will that be enough? I hope this didn't screw anything up.

TIA!

@legalfalcon Dear legalfaclon, I hope you are doing well. I have a question about renewing passports (after AOR)

I have dual nationality from two countries (Country A and Country B). At the time of submmiting the application, I declared both nationalities but only provided the passport of Country B.
For Country A , I provided National ID instead because the passport of Country A had been expired for 2 years already and I never used it (no travel histroy). I am going to renew my passport of country A in a few months. I would like to know if I will need to inform IRCC and submit the new passport details of Country A through webform.

Thank you so much for your time and your valuable opinion.

Can you suggest something please

Hi @legalfalcon

Since your application was approved you were issued a COPR and your application was closed.

To add your spouse to the application, your application will have to be re-opened and only then can your spouse be added to your application.

Are you an inland applicant or outland?

If you intend to use the Country A passport for travel then you will have to send the scanned copy of the passport to IRCC via webform.

Did you provide the reason for the refusal of the visa along with the county for which it was refused. If yes, then that is all that is required.
