Hello @legalfalcon i got my gcms notes and the last notes were, "file reviewed no outstanding items, referred to CPO for final decision." Is CPO the final officer or is CPO a office?

Its Case Processing Centre/Office.

Thank you. My primary office is RROC So a officer at case processing centre (Ottawa) will go over the file and then make decision?

RROC is not an office.

Rapid Response Operations Centre (RROC), is tasked with processing applications with certain NOC that are deemed essential for Canada, some EE and other applications. It will have to be seen the context in which this comment was made.

Hi @legalfalcon

I got the reply as bellows from my webform. My application is approved and I am with AOR OCT 2019. So, considering the situation do you think IRCC might need full 3 months to send me remed+PPR or how long should it take considering my AOR? Are they gonna follow the FIFO process most likely or random PPR? what is your call? thanks

Webform- "If your application has been approved, you can expect our office to contact you within the next 90 days for submission of your passport(s) and completion of any other pending requirements on your application."

Hello @legalfalcon ,

Is there a possibility that IRCC will be extending the medicals for second time or better go for re-medicals? My medicals expired in Oct 2020 and extended until Oct 2021 and I think by the time they start issuing PPR's my medicals will be expired.

Wait for their instructions, really.

As of now, there is no policy for a second extension, but I am sure there will be one just as they had for the first one.

Hi Legalfalcon,

Below is my timeline for AIPP PR. Do you have any idea about next process or when can I expect PR or my spouse name to be relect on my gckey

AR: June 2020
AOR: Feb 2021
ADR: submitted April 13 2021
Medical passed: April 15 2021
Spouse docs sent: May 04 2021
No update since then.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Legalfalcon,
I have received a call yesterday from cic to confirm my address in Canada and didn't asked anything about my spouse. After the call I have called to cic to check about my spouse and they said documents were received. Today I have received copr but nothing about my spouse.

What I have to do in this situation. Can you please help me out with your experiences.

Thank you

Hi, @legalfalcon I wanted to ask if it's possible to request a study permit cancellation/annulment from IRCC once a PR is granted.

I got my pr in June but my study permit still appears to be "valid" in my GCKEY account. This is causing me problems as BC medical coverage people want to continue charging me the international student monthly health fee up until my Study Permit's original expiration date, even though I am now a permanent resident. It was my understanding that old permits and visas are considered cancelled once PR is granted and virtual landing is complete. I filled out a web form asking IRCC to cancel my study permit. Do you think it will work? Thank you!!

When you receive your COPR and after it is activated, if you are in Canada immediately upon receiving the e-COPR, if you are outside Canada, then upon landing in Canada all existing visas and permits are automatically cancelled.

The never ending saga of officer CB01126

Question
Some of the electronic permanent residency files transferred to COI-Nova Scotia are assigned to "CB01126" as per the officer's electronic notes. Please provide the description of the code "CB01126," whether it pertains to an officer's badge number, a group under which certain applications are clubbed (if so, then what criteria is used to club them). Also, please provide the criteria under which the files are assigned / clubbed under "CB01126."
