@legalfalcon

I need your help!!!
I am Tunisian and I live in Burkina Faso.I applied for EE FSW Outland (AOR April,19 2019; MP: mai,29 ; Biometrics : mai,30 ; PPR : november,05
I have received yesterday an email "Ready for Visa" from IRCC and its content is as follow:

My question is:
DID I HAVE TO PREPARE ALL THE DOCUMENTS MENTIONNED IN STEP 3 OR NOT ? ESPECIALLY THE DOCUMENTS N°3 (my medical exam is actually available),N°5 (Police cetificates had been previously submitted) and N°7 (I had paid all the fees for me and members of my family in the beginning (2550$))

"
Dear applicant,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: dakar.immigration@international.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

STEP 1: Change in Circumstances

Should any of the following circumstances apply to you or any accompanying family member, you must inform this office immediately:

· Change in marital status, for example due to marriage, divorce, legal separation, annulment or death of spouse;

· Change in family composition, for example due to adoption or birth of a child, including a child born to your accompanying dependent child,

· Death of principal applicant, spouse, accompanying children, or death of sponsoring relative;

· Change in health;

· You or any of your accompanying family members being charged or convicted of a criminal offence

· Change in contact information: mailing address, e-mail address, or telephone number.

Your failure to inform CIC of any of these changes may result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa and may render you and your accompanying family members inadmissible to Canada.

Your failure to declare all of your family members, accompanying or not, will permanently exclude them from sponsorship under the Family Class regulations.

STEP 2: Passport Requirements

If you require a visa to enter Canada, then submit your passport(s):

· Please provide your passport or travel document and a passport or travel document for each accompanying family member. An accompanying family member must have his or her own passport or travel document.

· There must be at least two blank pages in your passport(s).

· Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military passports or travel documents.

· All passports must be intact and not worn, torn or otherwise damaged; the laminate on the bio-data page must be securely attached. Each page must be securely affixed to the passport; there cannot be any loose pages.

· Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter.

If you do not require a visa to enter Canada:

· Please submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and one for each accompanying family member.

· Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter.

· Please note that you cannot use a Diplomatic, Official or Military passport to travel to Canada to become a permanent resident of Canada. You must be in possession of an ordinary passport.

@legalfalcon I ordered GCMS notes from getgcms.com on Sept 16th and have yet to receive them. In the meantime, I noticed a ghost update when I checked on Oct 24th. I called IRCC and found out that everything has passed as of Oct 18th. I imagine I'm now waiting for final approval or a remed request.

My question is should I order GCMS notes again or just sit tight in this case? Would it just get in the way or perhaps nudge the officer to revisit the file? I have a tendency to think of the latter because of the last GCMS notes which are probably still being worked on and possibly granted me that ghost update..
If you are sure that everything is passed, then you can just wait. The GCMS notes are being delayed and requesting another one may or may not be released on time. In some cases after requesting GCMS notes applicants do see some progress, but not always.

@legalfalcon I am currently in US with my family, my F2 visa has expired but my I20 is valid till 2021. Do I need to renew my US visa for this express entry, I am the principal applicant. My husband with his F1 visa has renewed his visa already and his I20 is also valid till 2021. I don’t know if I go to renew my visa and it’s rejected, will it have any negative effect on my EE, I have never had any visa refusals before. So that is why I don’t know if I should renew or not. Please kindly reply Sir. Thank you
You can continue to stay in the US until your I20 is valid. As long as you do not leave US, you do not need to renew your visa.

Thanks legalfalcon for your response.
I called yesterday IRCC to clarify and I had an agent who told me that it could be a generic email and he verified the status of my application then he said that they did not need any addictional document and I have to send my passeport to Dakar.

As I insist on the content of the email and he has not read it so he said that I have to follow the instructions of the email and finally he said " You have to send your passeport an photographe and we are wainting for you here in Canada!!!".
Should I write on the webform ? Especially they took 5-6 days to respond?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Hi @legalfalcon ! Could you help me with a query please? I have not found any other post anywhere with this problem.

I work as an independent contractor for an American company. I am physically located in India and I work remotely for them.

1. What should I put in "Country" and "City" under work history? Is this the company's country and city? They ask for this right after the company1. name

2. What should I put in "Country where activity took place" and "City where activity took place" under personal activities section ? Should it be India since I am physically here

Should I put US for 1 and India for 2? Is it an issue if there is a mismatch like that?

If people know your application they can make predictions. So instead of relying on what people think rely on law and processing details.

What was the ADR for. If Accara is your LVO, then your eligibility seems to be in progress.
Hi legal falcon . My ADR was for more info on the adoption of my ward. She had been living with me for more than 8 years now amd i adopted her in 2016 at age 15 or so . The last gcms i ordered in january everything was already passed . Criminality, eligibilty and all. When i called cic then, they would say that my file was awating final review by an officer.
This was before my file got transferd to my local visa office and the local visa office asked for adr on the adoption . Following the submission the 12th of august , i got a ghost update on the 11th of october . This is the reason why i am asking what the ghost update signifies. Thank you.

If you have received your PPR, you will have to landing Canada before the expiry date of the PR visa.

Most likely your meds are valid until March 2020.

Hello sir. I am in dire need of your "urgent" help/suggestion. It would be more than kind of you to take out the time and reply to my message as you have always done before.
My aor is 13th may
1.i have used FDs as POF and my one FD is going to mature tomorrow and my timeline is also ending day after. The FD has the instruction to redeem so it will get liquidated into my account. Without that FD I still have almost the amount needed in my account for a couple(8.53l is req and without that FD I have 8.56l).
So do I need to raise a webform and inform CiC about the FD being mature?and the money being liquidated in my acc? Is it necessary for me to again make an FD of that amount ?
Also will I need a new balance certificate and wil I need to again add new one year or 6 months statement? Will providing new docs at this stage delay/hamper my case
Or will I be good otherwise too(no need
To raise webform)??Sorry for so many questions but its just that I am tensed

2.Got rprf request on 30th oct stating admissibility review is ongoing., could you elaborate at what stage I am as my timeline is almost over?

Please sir I request your urgent help
Please kindly provide your guidance as soon as you can
Waiting for your valuable reply.
Thanks
