If you cannot meet the 6 months average balance requirement, you can show the funds though a gift deed.

You do not require the average balance if you are showing the funds via gift deed.
I am using a gift deed indeed :) I was curious about the $11K cash deposit:

@legalfalcon I am using a gift deed either way. I was curious about the 11K cash deposit. Will that raise a red flag? Can you please advise on the Plan B from below excerpt:

I have inadvertently deposited $11,000 cash in my salary account which is around 60% of my entire POF. Doing some late research, I found out that depositing cash is an absolute terrible idea. My father recently sold a property so I can show a sale deed along with gift deed. However, the sale deed is not in English language and I don't want to open a new can of worms by showing it. More so, because the payment I am using was a part of cost paid in cash so the amount didn't go to my father's account first.

I can now take the cash out, deposit it in my father's account and have him transfer it the right way. But the VO will see the $11,000 fumble in my account prior to gift money coming in. I heard getting a new account is also a bad idea.

Plan B: May be once I have an ITA, I will arrange another $11,000 and route it through my dad's account. That will take my account to $11,000 excess POF but the cash deposit will still be there.

Please advise.

P.S: I am expecting an ITA soon so there is no way to showing a 6 month ageing.

The average processing time for an application is 6 months. The 6 months starts when the R10 is passed and not when the AoR is received.

Also, the VO your file is at does not matter. What matters is that it is progressing. Lately GCMS notes have been delayed. You can call IRCC or send a webform and enquire.

If you are showing a gift deed, any account entries that you show are irrelevant. However, you will need to show that the money was transferred to you and you will have to show the transfer. See https://bit.ly/34qjxPN

You do not have to show where the donor acquired the funds from, only that the funds were gifted to you and the mode of transfer of funds and that the funds are now in your account.

I cannot predict, but if the application did move to the LVO, then it is closing completion.

@legalfalcon thanks for all the help!

I have a simple question. I have 2 years of foreign work experience and I was thinking about adding my canadian experience, which is only 2 months at the moment and is not meaning anything in terms of points. Should I include it anyway (pre ITA) or only declare it in the personal history (pos ITA)? If I include it will I have to show documents about it post ITA even if it is not claiming any points?

Hello, I would like to have your advise on the following case:

One of my friends has 3 years of work experience and would like to apply for FSW. The problem with his work experience is:

2 first years: he was independant (own real estate company), he was providing services to clients, promotors ... but we all know it's difficult to prove this kind of experience by providing letter, contracts, invoices... Also he didn't have a continues salary as all the cash he was earning was injected into the company to grow and expand. But everything was okey with the company.

1 year: he changed the status and became employee of his own company with a salary every month and can also provide tax returns. He sold 75% of shares but kept 25% of them.

My questions are: for the 2 years independant, if he provides the clients letter, contracts, invoices, cheques, status of the company that he was the owner, do you think it will be enough to prove this 2 years? is it a problem if he didn't have a normal salary?

for the 1 year as employee: will it cause a problem that the new employer provides him with a reference letter + pays stubs from that same company?

He is also able to get his new employer write a reference letter for 3 years as employee

what would you suggest? go with the 2 years ( employer) + 1 employee? or get the new employer to provide a 3 years reference letter which would be a lot easier but maybe risky?

thank you very much for your help

Dear Sir, since you were busy last week, in anticipation I have done upfront re-medical with logic that it might trigger my case. My case is post ppr divorce and its been 3 months I have submitted divorce decree. Since honourable Mr. Ralph confirmed eligibility, criminality and security passed on September first week. I was curious for re med request, also now days re med request are getting delayed from cic end. Therefore I took this step of upfront re med. Yesterday I got response for my webform from Ottawa that they have forwarded my medical information sheet to NVDO. i have mailed and raised webform to ndvo too but they never reply.

How long it can take to get revised ppr, initially you said it can take 1-3 months depending upon vo.
Can you please suggest why they take so long to verify a divorce decree. I hope re med will be easily updated and will not create further trouble.

Dear applicant,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: dakar.immigration@international.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

STEP 1: Change in Circumstances

Should any of the following circumstances apply to you or any accompanying family member, you must inform this office immediately:

· Change in marital status, for example due to marriage, divorce, legal separation, annulment or death of spouse;

· Change in family composition, for example due to adoption or birth of a child, including a child born to your accompanying dependent child,

· Death of principal applicant, spouse, accompanying children, or death of sponsoring relative;

· Change in health;

· You or any of your accompanying family members being charged or convicted of a criminal offence

· Change in contact information: mailing address, e-mail address, or telephone number.

Your failure to inform CIC of any of these changes may result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa and may render you and your accompanying family members inadmissible to Canada.

Your failure to declare all of your family members, accompanying or not, will permanently exclude them from sponsorship under the Family Class regulations.

STEP 2: Passport Requirements

If you require a visa to enter Canada, then submit your passport(s):

· All passports must be intact and not worn, torn or otherwise damaged; the laminate on the bio-data page must be securely attached. Each page must be securely affixed to the passport; there cannot be any loose pages.

· Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter.

If you do not require a visa to enter Canada:

· Please submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and one for each accompanying family member.

@legalfalcon I ordered GCMS notes from getgcms.com on Sept 16th and have yet to receive them. In the meantime, I noticed a ghost update when I checked on Oct 24th. I called IRCC and found out that everything has passed as of Oct 18th. I imagine I'm now waiting for final approval or a remed request.

My question is should I order GCMS notes again or just sit tight in this case? Would it just get in the way or perhaps nudge the officer to revisit the file? I have a tendency to think of the latter because of the last GCMS notes which are probably still being worked on and possibly granted me that ghost update..

@legalfalcon I am currently in US with my family, my F2 visa has expired but my I20 is valid till 2021. Do I need to renew my US visa for this express entry, I am the principal applicant. My husband with his F1 visa has renewed his visa already and his I20 is also valid till 2021. I don’t know if I go to renew my visa and it’s rejected, will it have any negative effect on my EE, I have never had any visa refusals before. So that is why I don’t know if I should renew or not. Please kindly reply Sir. Thank you

If you include your Canadian wok experience in work history section, you will be asked to upload work reference letter for it. Instead you can leave it in the personal history section.

You can make changes to your application post ITA as long as your points are not affected.

Salary is not a prerequisite to get points. Also, one has to look into the documents to give you any input here.

Not all applicants are asked for a re-meds. It is on a case by case basis. Also, IRCC will evaluate your divorce documents and only after it is done will you be issued a new PPR
