Dear legal falcon sir, in my post ppr family composition change application as per minister only med is expired, rest everything is passed and now its been almost two month of. Med. Expiry I have not received re med request.
Many people have different opinions regarding upfront re med without cic request. Some suggest that It dont get traced easily by cic, on the other hand others have been successful with in 2-3 days and med status changed to passed.
For me your guidance is above others always. If you suggest to go for re. Med, i will book the next slot.

Ps: my gcms are delayed as. Confirmed my getgcms, today 32 days completed and counting.

There is no point getting a new meds until asked for. IRCC can in its own discretion extend you meds. Usually after the processing of the application and any additional documents is complete, and during the final review the decision on the meds will be made.

Hi legal falcon . My AOR is july 28 2018 . My VO was previously ottawa. Apparently my file was put on hold for a while . On the 30th of may 2019 my file was transferred to Accra visa office . In july i received notification to submit Additional documents . This was submitted in august . On the 11th of october 2019 i got a ghost update . Now my cic page still says "we are reviewing the additional documents required " and "you do not need a medical we will send you a message if this changes. My query now is what the ghost update signifies. Cos i dont think it means that my PPR is around the corner as people say . Pls i would really live to know what you think . Thanks

If people know your application they can make predictions. So instead of relying on what people think rely on law and processing details.

What was the ADR for. If Accara is your LVO, then your eligibility seems to be in progress.

@legalfalcon many thanks for all of your guidance on your forum! i have a question regarding my job experience. I have 3.2 years of total job experience as an architect. The first 7 months, I worked as an architect in a small construction firm close to my house just for the experience. These are really great people and are happy to provide me with all the documentation I need for my express entry profile. However they are very small, have no website, are not listed anywhere online. Would this hurt my application and put it under a lot of scrutiny? The second firm I worked at for 2.5 months, is quite famous, and the project I had worked on has been published in several architectural magazines and websites, with my name listed as the architect. Would providing this documentation also make for a stronger case?

Not sure what you mean by hurt. IRCC requires to submit work reference letters. Id does not say that you you have to work for a large multinational firm. If you submit the documents as required, that is it. IRCC can ask for additional documents such as pay slips, IT returns on a case by case basis.

Hi I have a question for a fried, he ran his own business (entrepreneur) and was able to find his NOC, he is wondering what he should provide as proof of employment.
Can he provide an affidavit that he did all the duties of his NOC?

Hey @legalfalcon I have a question for you. I received my PPR yesterday and I applied as a single applicant. During the duration of the processing time, I got married and have a marriage certificate. I got married on the 11th of October and the PPR has a date of 26th October.

My question is, how do I add my wife on the application? I emailed London VO that my marital status has changed. What documents do I need?

Hello @legalfalcon, thanks for your advice on issues. My AOR was 2nd of March, on the 30th of August, I received a mail asking me to submit my passport. I informed CIC of my marriage and they asked me for some document. I submitted all on the 28th of September and my spouse has passed medicals and done biometrics.
Please sir, general, how long does it take to get another PPR after the PA has already scaled through?

A gift is based on the laws of the country you are in. In most cases, a gift given to a blood relative is valid. Instead of giving a gift to the brother in law, the gift could have been jointly given to the sister and brother in law, and the wife stating that she has no objection is using the funds for the purpose of settlement in Canada.

Even if the gift is given to brother in law, it doe snot invalidate it, however, it will depend on the laws of the country of residence of the donor.

If you added your spouse, then the spouse will have to go through Medicals, Criminality, Security and it can takes 4-5 months for the documents to be approved.

To add your spouse you will need to submit the following:

1. An IMM8 Application
2. Schedule A form for spouse
3. Additional Family Information form for primary applicant and spouse.
4. Fee receipt for spouse - Processing fee ($550) and right of permanent residence fee ($490).
5. Birth Certificate of spouse, translation, and affidavit of translation (if required).
6. Copy of Spouse's Passport
7. Copy of marriage certificate and marriage registration
8. Wedding Card and Photographs (on a case by case basis)
9. Police clearance certificate for the primary applicant and spouse
10. Spouse's upfront medical
11. Letter of Explanation (if required)

Self declaration is not accepted by IRCC.
