Hi @legalfalcon,

My ADR from last 2months says additional documents you provided have been uploaded.(RCMP)

Anything to worry here? Or CIC has certain time fix to review the additional documents?

Thanks!!

If he is the director of the company, then he needs to file his PR application as self employed and not as employee.

@legalfalcon

Thank you so much for your reply. Actually he already received ITA with his HR related NOC, in this scenario what should he do?

Also, its true that he was a paid director in this company in charge of HR related issued so he was a HR Director.

It will be great to have your reply on the above :) Thank you so much.

Hello legal falcon,
First of all thxuu so much for your time to help everyone in this forum ,
Yesterday I speak to the agent they said they don't know how long my application will take because Your file is under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times. My medicals expiring next month .i am allready in 20 month ,my background checks in progress since June 2018 and my file location is ps review anyidea what this means?? My gcms also showing security not started and I have potential adverse information in victoria road report as I mention before

Hello! Anybody here with NOC 3012 got a notice of interest for alberta PNP? Because according to the website noc 3012 is included on the criteria with decrese likelihood to recieve notice of interest. I am quite confuse if it is worth it to try... thank u

@legalfalcon Hello! we would like your opinion on our current situation. I am Nov 11 AOR and dependent. My wife is the primary applicant. We submitted WES ECA for her. Bachelor (4 years). We found out today that her second credential diploma which was given (one semester) Canadian equivalency will not be accepted.

when we ordered gcms notes, as per the program assistant notes her bachelor was accepted and verified but there was no mention of the diploma. why did they not mention it here?

We recieved her IQAS ECA on Wednesday which has given a correct evaluation as one year graduate diploma. Now we want to know if it is possible for us to submit this ECA to IRCC now? and if so how do we ask them to replace her diploma from WES ECA with IQAS ECA? will there be any consequences?

can anyone pleae shed some light on this. this is very urgent as things are progessing very quickly for November.

thank u

Yeah I understand the concept for RR. Looking my case i have 2 job exerience for my CEC application.
One of my experience letter have less duties on it 4-5. Will this affect ? Can i be under RR for this?
I have also raised CSE and sent updated experience letter with more duties on it few days back

I have one more concern

I am in Canada on POWP and my wife is in india. Can we apply for her SOWP (dual intent). She was previously in Canada on dependent work permit on her previous husband. Will it affect anyway if we apply for SOWP?

As regards the number of job duties, what matters i whethere the jds listed in your qork ref letter substantially (75% or more) matches those of the NOC selected.

If your spouse meets the SOWP you can apply. The intent won't matter much.

see https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...esidents/visitors/dual-intent-applicants.html

Thank you for your response. My understanding from my gcms notes is that there is NRT from RCMP.
Do you suggest I submit RCMP report myself? It takes 3 days or less according to their website when their is no criminality match.

The NRT is based on their internal review.

Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years.

For Canadian PCC, you can wait and see when IRCC asks, or submit one on your own accord.

Dear @legalfalcon , thanks for taking time answering our questions! This following question is about self-employed:

Normally freelancers get hired by clients to work on projects. However, if a freelance writer receives a grant from a non-profit organization to write whatever articles s/he desires, can this be used to claim self-employed work experience? The writer needs to submit all the articles (i.e. the service) to the organization in order to receive the payment.

Merci beaucoup!

See the letter if it has an acceptance date. Also, you will have to file an application with the Province of Alberta, so check the requirements and the time you have to do that.

As long as you have sent it, no need to worry.

Its just that someone has to physically review your file and update the status, which has not been done.

hey @legalfalcon
i logged into my profile and saw the profile status showing as updated. but when i clicked it i saw no change in my online status nor any new message received from CIC. it again went back to submitted when i refreshed the page. what does this imply? is this some sort of glitch?

Hi @legalfalcon

My AOR is 23 Mar 2018 and was in RR since Jun 2018 according to my first GCMS notes(for list of job duties to confirm NOC) which I got in Aug 18 and sent a Letter of Explanation same day. Since then I always got a reply that application is in queue for review, next GCMS notes in Dec was nothing different from the first. Even CSE reply on 12 Mar 2019 mentioned I was in queue for review again. I have got a request for medical on 01 Apr 2019 (previous medicals 20 Mar 2018 and MEP 04 April 2018). I sent the new medical information sheet/Acknowledgement of medicals via webform on 05 April and got a reply 0n 9th that the application is in NDVO. Ghost update on 11 April 2019- Medicals pass. The agent was not able to tell anything on call as the file is at NDVO.

AOR 23 Mar 18
MEP 04 Apr 18
IP2 Jun 18
1st GCMS - 28 Aug 2018 (Webform- Submitted LOE same day)
2nd GCMS - 14 Dec 2018 (same as previous with only activity of receipt of LOE
further all calls n CSE - awaiting review
Medical Request- 01 Apr 2019
Date of Medicals - 03 Apr 2019. (Sent CSE on 05 Apr 19 and got reply on 09 Apr that they forwarded it to NDVO)
MEP (Ghost update) 11 Apr 2019

Can you throw some light if this would imply Im done with the review?
