Your eligibility has started and in progress. See the third last page. After the cast analyst has made a recommendation, an officer will review it and your eligibility will finally be set to pass,d and then you will start the security /
Thanks Legalfalcon :) I got an update in my account on 26th Oct late night/27th Oct early morning IST. The background check is now in progress. Hope that means that my eligibility as primary applicant is passed! Also, if there are 2 adult applicants (myself as primary and my husband as secondary) and one minor (my 2 year old) is the background check likely to take longer? Compared to an individual applicant :) Just so I know it will take longer and don’t keep benchmarking myself against single applicants...

Hi @legalfalcon I received my GCMS notes ordered from getgcms today. I have review required on the notes for POF. I have submitted the following for a requirement of 23000 CAD.

Should I be worried?

See notes below. Thanks on advance for your kind reply.

This is incorrect. Each application is judged based on its own merit.

If you get an admission and can meet the financial requirements, the degree you wish to obtain is a progression in what you have already done, this strengthens your application .
Many thanks bro.

@legalfalcon , I joined a company on November 2011 in India and after 3 months I was deputed to Dubai for a project from the same company for almost 3.5 years. But the company was incorporated/registered in different name and hence my payslips where having the other name and they didn't give me the deputation letter as well. After returning to India after 3.5 years I resigned from the company and in the resignation letter they called out my date of joining and date of resigning along with the last held position name. My query here is while submitting my application there's a separate line item for my period of work in Dubai and all I have as a proof is the payslips but that too it is in different name. Can I still go ahead and upload the same payslips and add a letter of explanation stating both are the same companies but registered in different name in Dubai or is there any other workaround available for this?? Please help me I'm really confused on this.

Regards

There is no need to worry. Many applicants get a Review required for PoF, especially when it is in a foreign currency and when it is not clear whether you have clear access to funds. If your PF letter states that you can get the PF funds liquidated at any time, you do not have to worry. Even if the letter does not state it, most officers know what a PR in terms of Indian context is.

If you would like to send a supplement letter, you can where it expressly states that your PF funds are unencumbered and can be liquidated any time. You can even explain this if getting a letter is difficult with this language.

Alternatively, you can just wait and most applicants see that review required is changed to passed as soon as the officer finishes reviewing the documents.

I would not not worry much. Also, PoF is not a ground of rejection and if IRCC needs any clarification, they will ask.

To claim points for work experience you can combine work at different employers, they do not have to be the same. However, you have to meet the 1 year full time work experience requirement in the NOC you have selected.

If your case, I do not see a problem, even if you provide letters from different companies. However, to claim points you will need a reference letter that states your job duties, salary, number of hours worked as per the IRCC format.

If you cannot get a reference letter, you can get a letter an letter and have it notarized. This letter can be form a former colleague, or anyone who is aware of your work at the company and they can list the same things as would have been in the reference letter. You can then use this letter with your pay slips and explain it in LoE.

Hi LegalFalcon Can I pm you the draft of my LOE to check? I appreciate the help! Many thanks!

I can't review individual documents. However, if you have a specific issue, or something you would like to discuss, feel free to post and I will revert back .

If the original document is in English or French along with the native language, it does not need any translation or notarization. Only documents issued in languages other than English or French, need translation and notarization

Hi @legalfalcon I received my GCMS notes ordered few weeks back and i have already ordered another set of GCMS note what that will come at end of December. I have review required on the notes for MI A11.2. I have am uploading my case analyst notes from GCMS note.

I have few questions about the areas that I marked in yellow.
  1. why did my verified score only 375 out of 445.
  2. Why is my A11.2 review required, is it because of CRS score or is it due to my NOC type error.
  3. Is there anything i can do to fix this situation like send them something from my side.

Thanks @legalfalcon for the clarification. Currently I'm working in a company for almost 4 years and I have all the supporting documents from my company including the letter which states my job, duties, responsibilities and designation I hold. Do I still need to get the letter which explains the roles and responsibilities I held in my previous companies in addition to the offer letter, resignation letter which states my designation last I held, joining date and resignation date and the payslips??
