Hi legalfalcon
In the ePR application on the EE profile where we have to put our immigration history and citizenship, there is a question that says "has xxxx applied to immigration, refugees, and citizenship canada before?"
I had an EE profile in 2015, it got expired and I opened a new one in which I got the ITA. So, what should I answer to the above question? Is it a yes or no?
Making a profile does not mean that you have applied. You only apply when your receive the ITA and subsequently file your electronic application. So you can answer no there.

On another issue, the address history section in my profile is not appearing. The tab is not there at all, what do you think is happening?

This seems to be a technical issue, try reloading or using a different computer or a browser.

Thanks

Hello legalfalcon,

Regarding POF, can I include Term Deposit Receipt in my documents or should I liquefy the money and transfer them to an current or saving account? and if I can, should the bank include any further statements in the issued certificate?

Thanks for your continuous help!

Yes, you can include the Term Deposit Receipt, Fixed Deposits and any other investments given that they can be liquidated at will and are unencumbered.

This time of the year the CIC is overburdened and allocates its resources to other places. There is a lot of movement of travellers applying for various visas, and as the holiday season is fast approaching, the paper work increases. This is the only reason I can see. But this usually does happen during the year too, when 2-3 weeks will pass without any major PPRs.

Just hang in there.

Hi,

Do you know after submitted the passport and paid the RPRF, when I will get my CoPR?

After everything finalized, I will have the CoPR by post, email or download from MyCIC?

Thanks so much

If you are not from a visa exempt country, you only submit the passport when you are asked by CIC once your application is finalized. So I am not sure what you re referring to here. If you have sent your passport, then you will get the passport back with the visa and CoPR by post.

I am from a visa exempt country, I already sent the passport copies to VO.
When should I expect to get my CoPR? is it by post or download from MyCIC?

Thanks again

Thank you legalfalcon. But one of my TDRs can only be liquefied after 6 months from now. Can I include it since CIC will take about 6 to 8 months to finalize my case?

Also, I have dropped a message into ur inbox. I would be grateful if you could help.

The COPR will be physically mailed to you at your address on file.

Yes, you can include your TDR which will mature later. It is an asset and can be included. This is because you can liquidate a TDR by paying a penalty, so that is perfectly fine.

Hello Legalfalcom,

I have received an ITA and am in the process of collecting all the documents required for submitting my PR application.
However, my IELTS will be 2 years old on 13th December.

May you please suggest if I need to write the IELTS tests again if I could n't submit my application before 13th December.

Thanks

Your IELTS should not be more than 2 years old on the day your file your e-application. So it will depend on what date your are planning to file your application. Also remember that when you made your profile you entered your IELTS number in the profile, and now you will be changing it, which you can, but you will need to justify.

In short, if you can file your application before December 13, you are good, if not then you should consider taking the IELTS again and inform CIC of the new result code.

Hope this helps!

thanks legalfalcon.
for the technical issue, I tried other browser, computer and login on the next day, still the Address History tab is not there. Not that the info isn't saved, the whole tab is not there. Do you think I should report this as technical issue?
