@legalfalcon I just want to ask about medical tests. Assume that IRCC did already extend my medicals for, let's say, 6 month. If I send them new medical results, will they extend it for another year? Or my new test results will be useless since they already extended my old ones?
And how can I know if they really had extended my previous medicals?

When you send a re-med, it will be valid for 1 year and not 6 months.

Thanks @legalfalcon . ECA report has recognized institution for my BAchelors but for my diploma they didnt specify anything, particular row is not there. And also in assessment , they mentioned corresponding foreign education to canada education equivalent. 2 year diploma and 4 year Bachelors.

I received an email on 16th Jan 2020 regarding my upfront medicals that I did on 16th Dec 2020 before receiving the request from IRCC.

Good day,

We are pleased to confirm reception of the document(s).

We have forwarded them to the responsible office for their consideration.

I also got my Medicals done gain with the IME number (IMM 1017E) on 13th Jan ..

So which medicals would be updated faster in the system?

Also I got a Request Letter asking For IMM 5669E Schedule A. Is this a step towards PR?

Criminality checks consist mainly of examining the information that accompanies an application, which includes a police certificate (PCC) from all countries where the applicant has lived for more than six months. Do I need to get a police certificate for my time in Canada? IRCC does background check for all inland applicants and they will ask explicitly for Canadian PCC if needed. Usually this is reviewed at the R10 Completeness Check stage or before Review of eligibility starts. (CEC and inland applicants require a RCMP PCC and as a result the criminality stage will not be marked passed until the RCMP report is filed with IRCC). To save some processing time the RCMP PCC can be submitted along with the initial application and it can reduce processing time by a few weeks.

Since your are an inland applicant, IRCC will ask for RCMP PCC later in the process, usually at the end when the security has been initiated or eligibility is recommended passed. This is one reason why the criminality is pending, but there is no need to worry.

Also, how long you have been in Canada will be another factor.

No need to be concerned as your cases is typical for the CEC application.

Yes, any movement is a good sign and Sch A is requested when the info sharing and security has started or about to start.

You have one medicals on file, done on Dec 16, or have you done meds twice?

The processing of your file starts in Canada. In your GCMS notes, you will have the processing office listed.

1. Once your application is filed, any changes post filing do not impact your application. Also, if a request is sent, you can ask you spouse or anyone else to take care of it. Your travel has no bearing on the processing of your application. As per the current COVID policy, IRCC cannot refuse an application due to a missing documents.

2. There is no limit. You can seek an extension reasonable based on your circumstances bu citing reasons, which you have.

as I have uploaded an LOE in place of Singapore PCC that was asked in E-APR (bcoz my company address in Singapore but I never was in Singapore more than some days) So
1. while I will be on board ship, and they insist on submitting PCC, will I be able to ask for an extension of 4-5 months on ADR citing my employment reason? or my application will be rejected?
2. is the PCC asked during criminality check? I mean after what time from AOR one can expect a PCC request or explanation for PCC is accepted?

1. If you were not in Singapore and your explained the process, you need not worry. In an eventuality, IRCC asks for the PCC, they will give you adequate time and more time can be taken.

2. IRCC can ask for additional documents at any stage. However, it is your responsibility to file a complete application and if any document is missing, the same should be explained in LoE.

Criminality is usually based on your PCCs and is done along with R10. Only if your biometrics are pending and a PCC is pending, usually for inland applicants, your criminality will continue to pending while the processing continues.
