July 2019 will work just fine.Hello @legalfalcon
I have a question regarding the job reference letter. I have worked for a company for 2.5 years until Aug 2019 and they issued me a job reference letter as per IRCC guidelines for my express entry which is dated back in July 2019. Does that letter still work as my job reference letter for express entry as it was dated July 2019 or do I need to get a new one from them with current date? as I left the company in Aug 2019.
I am going to submit my PR application soon
Thanks
Yes. The work reference letter can be issued while you are working with the employer or after. As long it has all the IRCC prerequisites, you are good.Hello @legalfalcon Thanks for your prompt response. In the letter it was mentioned that I am currently working there (dated July 2019) but I left the company in Aug 2019. Can I still use the same letter and add an explanation letter saying I was working until Aug 2019.
Does that work?
Thanks

When any of your fixed deposits matures, you can either invest it into another FD or just withdraw and keep it in any account. As of now you do not need to send any documents to IRCC. However, if IRCC does ask or any additional PoF documents, then you can send the bank statement of where you deposited the funds or a new FD certificate and explain from where the funds cam from. As long as you have the money trail, you need not worry.Hi @legalfalcon ,
Greetings from India!
ITA : 4th Feb 2020
AOR : 18th April 2020
Stream : FSW outland
Medicals passed and BIL received just last week (June 24th)
We have a query regarding Proof of Funds.
We had submitted our PoF as a combination of Fixed Deposits (FDs), RD (recurring/term deposit), and a savings account. The RD (it is an ICICI flexible RD which is not renewable and is linked to a salary account) is maturing on the first week of July. By default the money gets deposited to the salary account for which we have not submitted any statements so far. We want to understand if the closure of the RD will pose an issue? Once matured, can we transfer the money to the existing savings account we have already submitted as part of our application? If yes, what are the documents we require to show IRCC?
Looking forward to your advice!
Hi @legalfalcon hope you are well. The bank statement submitted as proof of funds includes a deposit and withdrawal amount of $3000 CAD, the transaction happened 7 months prior to AOR date. The deposited amount was later used for personal use and did not contribute to the proof of funds requirement. Proof of funds were deposited at a later date and source was provided in the application. Is explanation required for $3000 transaction? If yes, can it be done now by providing LOE through webform? the application is 5 months post AOR date. Also as per GCMS notes Settlement funds appears to meet (Case Processing agent notes, visa officer review is pending
Look forward for your response. Thanks in advance.
No, you do not have to decline the ITA. Just fill the application ahead and if you can change it do it. If not, then when you submit the application, you can explain this error. It will not matter as long as you explain it in LoE.Hello @legalfalcon
I recently got my ITA, while i was checking my details I found that I made a mistake in the education section as for my bachelors education country I selected Indonesia instead of India. I tried to edit the information but there is no such option as it only says view form.
Do I need to decline the ITA and edit the information and wait for a new ITA
or put an explanation letter?
Please advise!
Thanks
