@legalfalcon, we had a remed for my child with a consultant in February. The specialist identified speech delay then recommended speech therapist and normal schooling. So, we thought it would be a straight forward case for IRCC to reach a decision on medical. However, 4 months later medical isn't yet passed. In fact there is no indication that the medical file has been picked. See extract from note below.

I'll appreciate your response to the following questions.
1. In order to move our application forward, can an applicant voluntarily take a fresh medical test which could possibly override previous test? We believe our child will pass a fresh medical test if retaken.
2. What else can we do to move the application forward? The due date for medical is already 2 months behind, the 3 months turnaround time for medical with a remed is also past.
