Hi @legalfalcon

Thanks for all the clarifications over the last 6 months. I got the Ready for Visa email today (Indian resident applying from India with spouse). Needed one more clarity - regarding photos, We had got our pics clicked 7 months back as we also had to submit DIgital Photo for the application (One of them had date & photographer details on the back). Now for submitting passports, it says your pics should be recent within last 6 months. and one of them to have date and photographer details on the back. Shall we get new photos clicked? or will the old ones work?

If there has been no drastic changes to your appearance, then the old pics would work.

However, as per IRCC they should be recent, i.e. 6 months or less. If you have any children in your application, you should definitely get new ones clicked.

The eligibility takes place in 2 stages, first an analyst will review the application and documents and make recommendations. Then an officer will review and make a final determination.

Your application is awaiting the review by an officer.

Hi @legalfalcon

My background started recently.

I applied from US after that I moved to INDIA. I raised a CSE to notify them.

My application is currently getting processed at Montreal, will my application will be moved to NDVO at final stages or I can expect the PPR from Montreal office only.
If your country of residence has changed, your application will finally be transferred to NDVO, which will be your LVO and your PR will be issued from there.

This transfer can happen as the very last step, and all your processing might happen in Canada.

HI @legalfalcon

I am a single applicant under FSW.

1) Suppose I have CAD 19000 in my account, while the requirement is CAD 12669, Can I write any amount more than CAD 12669 under "how much money in canadian dollars would you bring to Canada?" question? or should I stick to amount that I actually have in my account? Does it matter if I answer say 16000 or 15000 for this question even though am showing Proof of 19000?

2) I have not decided on the province and city that I want to settle in, can I just select any province or city while I submit my PR application? Coz as far as I know, express entry immigrants can settle in any province/city of Canada.
1. All you have to show is that you have over the minimum PoF. It doe snot matter how much over the PoF limit you show, as it is immaterial.

2. YEs, except Quebec. You cannot select Quebec unless yo have a nomination from QC.

Hi @legalfalcon
Just received an ADR (IMM5406). We had submitted family information (info about both sides of parents) in the regular application, so why did we get this ADR?

Thanks
If your application is incomplete, or if there are gaps, IRCC will ask you to submit the form again.

Hi @legalfalcon .

I currently hold a Canadian visitor permit visa and wish to apply for Express Entry.
However, I have an arrest on my record in the US and was given a "Careless Driving" ticket (traffic offense, not criminal) with a fine.
There was no alcohol or substance involved and this is a single isolated incident on my record.

This is 2017 ORS 811.135 Careless driving (link below).
https://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/811.135

Due to this, will I be denied entry to Canada?
Does it make me ineligible for a permanent residency program like Express Entry?

This is not even classified as a misdemeanor, but just as a class-B traffic violation ticket (fine-only offense).
Is this worse than a speeding ticket?
Will I be inadmissible and need criminal rehabilitation?
Most likely this is a misdemeanour for which you should not be criminally inadmissible. However, you will have to answer the statutory questions and explain the charges and the fine.

It should not be an issue since you were only fined.

@legalfalcon

I’m planning to apply for BOWP. Currently, I live and work in Ontario based company. Recently, I got a job offer from a Quebec based company for a remote job. Do I still qualify for a BOWP?

N.B: company is based in Quebec. I’m resident in Ontario and will be working (if I accept the offer) from home
YEs, you do qualify your BOWP as BOWP is an open work permit, and you do not have to show any employment proof for it.

@legalfalcon I need your help.

CONTEXT: I'm a may 4th 2018 inland applicant. I applied under CEC with 3+ years of experience in Canada working with a Work Permit that my company applied for using NOC0124. When I got my gcsm notes I noticed that am under RR for my Canadian Experience, These are the lines:

INFORMATION FROM GCMS
PA: WP Valid until 2020-05-31 (LMIA Exempt: C12, NOC:0124). Intended employer: XXXXXXXX NO ADVERSE INFORMATION
2015-04 to 2016-11 Client Lead (NOC:1122) - at XXXXXXXX *REVIEW REQUIRED* - eDoc #xxxxx - Web based search confirms emplyer information. Letter confirms salary of CAD$XXXXX/year - Letter confirms full/time employment; 2016-11 to 2018-05 Senior Client Lead (NOC: 1122) - at XXXXXXX *REVIEW REQUIRED* - eDoc# xxxxxx - Web-based search confirms empoyer information.
Letter confirms salary of $XXXXXX/year - Letter confirms full/time employment; - Documented Income Provided: T4 from 2017(e-Doc# xxxxxx), Pay stubs from 2018 (eDoc#xxxxx) CEC Work 0 years 0 months of 1 year - REVIEW REQUIRED CRS Foreign Work: 3+ years CRS Canadian Work: 0 years 0 months of 2 years - REVIEW REQUIRED

MORE CONTEXT: When I was applying, my company confirmed that my NOC code was 1122, therefore this is what all their letters and everything am claiming is based on.

QUESTION:
1.
Could it be that because I have a NOC associated to my WP that doesn't match my letters, is causing me that RR?
2. My company's lawyer is asking me to submit an updated/revised employment verification letter from my company indicating the incorrect NOC was used in error and provide the correct NOC. Do you think this is a solution or would it cause more issues?

Thanks so much in advance!
@legalfalcon I’d like your advice on this if possible! Thanks so much
