@legalfalcon
Please need your help .
I am outland applicant since march 2018 for family Sponsorship . VO sent email replying us that

1-We would like to confirm that your file is currently pending security clearance. Upon receipt of the result, we will be able to proceed with your case. It might take from 3 to 6 months....what this means ?

2-
applied for notes : ( question why there are many 0 zero ! ) does they assess my education in the final decision although i am under family class. I am afraid :(
Eligibilty : PASSED
Criminality : Not started
Medical : PASSED
Occupation : New woker (I have bachelor degree ) ex-army officer pension now
Work Experience :0 (what this means ) )
PNC Deltails :0
Prov.Endorsment : 0
Language : 0 :( I speak 2 languages
Education : 0 (working as quality manager now )
job offer : 0 (what this means )

3- I have 2 passport one was canceled during army although they wrote it in my notes and my new passport they didn't write it .
question is this mistaken and i shall send email and tell them ?
1. It means exactly what it says. Your application is undergoing security checks which can take 3-6 months.

2. The 0 and 1 are values assigned to different areas. Since you are a family sponsorship, your language, work experience etc. do not matter and that is why you have a value of 0.

3. You only need current valid passport, which is your identity document.

Just have a very quick question regarding PoF. Hope you don't mind, pls!
I have a home loan from bank A, and the EMI for that loan gets deducted from my Salary account in Bank B. If I meet the minimum criteria for the required PoF in my Salary account (Bank B), would the Home loan have any bearing on IRCC's decision (This is because the home loan is bound to be visible when I show the Bank B's letter).
If you have any liabilities (loans) this will be deducted from your PoF. As per IRCC, you need to have enough funds to settle.

Thank you so much sir for your guidance again..

In case of option (a), I have further 2 small queries:
(1) Will this delay the procedure? I know answer might be yes. but any time frame that file may get delayed for few weeks?
(2) If she won't accompany me, do I have to file for spousal sponsorship afterwards for her PR?

In case of option (b),
(1)How many months will this delay the file? As far as I read, it will take further 4-5 months after one submit all the necessary documents. Can you please share your opinion please.
(2)Also, do I have to raise CSE for this and submit all the documents with that or via any additional placeholder that may be activated at that time?
(3) Will I have to submit her WES report, IELTS scorecard and travel & address history of last 10 years?

A. If you sponsor your spouse after you become a PR.
1. Should not.
2. YEs.

B. (If you add your spouse to your current app)
1. 4-5 months is accurate.
2. Yes, and you will have to send the documents by email.
3. No, since your spouse will not go through eligibility and your CRS will not be affected. So no need for WES, IELTS or Work ex.

hi @legalfalcon sir, I am suspecting that my file might be ignored till it gets expired, so shall I recall my existing stuck application and re-enter the pool to get a new ITA, please suggest?? I would be send consent form today to getgcms to complete my gcms notes request order but that will take atleast 30 days.., Please suggest what to do as my application is stuck in IP1 for more than 60 days..
If you have already filed your application, it will be processed. If you get back in the pool and even if you get an ITA and re-file, your second application will not be processed.

IRCC has a policy on multiple files. See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/canadian-citizenship/admininistration/general-file-processing/procedure-multiple-applications.html

Hi @legalfalcon sir, I am in IP1 since 11th Dec 2018 , am FSW-O applicant with non-accompanying spouse, there has been no update yet and it has been 3 months since my AOR which is 8th NOV 2018.

Kindly guide whether I should order GCMS notes or shall i upload docs via CSE (webform) anticipatingan ADR?

Also, my PCC will expire on 24th March 2019, so shall I now upload fresh ones via CSE (webform), kindly suggest??
You can do either. But the GCMS notes will give you a more clear and detailed picture of your application.

No, the documents only have to be valid on the day you filed your application. If they expire later, no need to worry.

Hello, @legalfalcon

We would appreciate any and all advice regarding our current PR status. We applied to the PR through provincial nomination a year and a half ago. We have submitted all the additional documents in a timely manner. The IRCC deadline was February 12, 2018. It's been a year, and the application is still in process. We have requested the GCMS, CBSA, and CSIS notes (which did not provide any additional insight because most of the things were redacted) and sent multiple emails to the IRCC via the web form (which are always answered with the same copy-pasted message of "We are working on it."). We are currently in a hellish limbo, as we live in another country on a work visa. In your opinion, at which point can we turn to the court and lawyers regarding the exceeded processing time and complete lack of communication?

@legalfalcon .. kindly need help.
I have applied through EE in FSW category. I submitted my AOR 13th sept.
Today I received a message from IRCC asking to upload “the enclosed supplementary information request for student form” and CV for me and my spouse.
Why i have been asked this form?i couldn’t get any clue. They have given us 7 days to upload these things
Regards

Dear Legalfalcon,

Hope you are doing well

First of all, thank you very much for your support on canadavisa.com

I have a query, your support would be highly appreciated

I have applied for PR through FSW-O
Country of Citizenship: Pakistan
Residence: Dubai, UAE [for last 8 years]
My wife is a British citizen of Indian Origin [born and raised in the UK] and is living in Dubai for last 7.5 years

My AOR is 28th Aug'18 [1 week away from completing 6 months]
As per my GCMS notes and as per my conversation with CIC call center agents, eligibility and criminality was passed on 6th Nov'18 and security started just after that

So basically my security is going on for last 90+ days

I have just ordered GCMS and CBSA notes last week

My previous GCMS was ordered on 23rd Dec and received on 23rd Jan. I could see S15(1) under security with a blank page. Couldn't find the word 'security screening' anywhere though. As per getgcms.com, I don't have to worry about S15 as it means security is ongoing and a response is awaited from organizations in other countries

Also, I have been to 9 countries till now

Any idea on why my security is taking this long?

Do u think I could be under security screening? Dubai is one of the safest places in the world and I haven't travelled to any places of political unrest

Many thanks
