Hi Legalfalcon
Hope all is well ! I'm sorry have to bother you again
I'm flying to Toronto at the end of this month so I'm listing documents that I should bring. Can I ask if you could have a look in case anything I missed ? Thank you !
1 Confirmation of permanent residence with two passport photo
2 documents that I used to apply for EE including language test, work reference letter, police certificate?education certificate, evaluation from WES
You don't need any of this. But it is advisable to carry for you're own benefit.
3 proof of fund, should I bring my most recent bank statement with me ?
You should carry the same PoF that you submitted to CIC. If the things have changed then carry the latest statement. All the immigration officers need to ensure is that you have the requisite funds to support yourself.
4 my friend's address in Montreal for the residence card to be posted
5 some cash
Make sure its not over CAD 10K (includes cash, traveller's check and other negotiable instruments.).
You will also need to carry your passport in which the visa was stamped. I am not sure if you will have goods following you or you are taking some household goods along with you, because if you are and even if they will follow later, you will need to have a list so that the customs can inpect it and ofr later they will stamp it and give it to you so that when the goods arrive you are not asked to pay duty on it.
Thanks in advance !
