The maximum points you can get is for 3 years of work experience. So you can either have a combined NOC for all your work experience, or you can just have it for the last 5 and have the remaining work history in your personal history. You can only claim points for the work done in the last 10 years, anything beyond that is not required.

Hope this helps!
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I understand about the work history and the relevant points.

We are currently experiencing very high traffic on our online services. You may have difficulty accessing them. We are working to resolve this issue.

  • If you are unable to submit a document on time as a result of the technical difficulties, try again over the next few days. If you are concerned about missing your deadline, submit the requested documents using the IRCC Webform.
  • You may see an incorrect application status asking for a medical exam or additional documents. If you actually need to send any documents or do a medical, you will see a message in your account and a letter explaining what you need to do.

Hey Legalfalcon,

Need your help and guidance. I have submitted my application on June 4. My son's birth certificate was in Hindi and was translated in English as per the requirement. I provided the following during the application stage.

1. Photocopy of birth certificate stamped by Translator company
2. English Translation (Notarized)
3. Affidavit of translator (Notarized)
4. Certified true copy of birth certificate

I didnt provide the copy of the original birth certificate. It was an complete oversight and honest mistake on our part.

I raised the case specific inquiry on June 8 and gave an LOE with copy of the original birth certificate. I requested them to add this to application along with those four provided with the application.

Please help me with the following information -

1. What are your views on CSE and its success?
CSE is the by far the best way to communicate. It may take a few days before your get an acknowledgement, but it always works and the same is entered in your file.

2. What are your views on my case? Will it be successful?
There is nothing to worry. If you did submit the original later, and given that your file has cleared R10, the document will be taken on record. You should however, order GCMS notes after about 10 days when you submitted the certificate to be sure that it was taken on record.

3. Anything more that I can do? Phone/email or something different?
You can try calling and sending an email asking them to confirm that the document was taken on record. No harm in that.

4. Since I only provided the missing document to be added with the application, is that a right step? or should I provide the complete set (five documents) again through CSE?
What ever is missing, if you provided that, you did the right thing. Just keep yourself appraised of your application. Try sending email and calling to confirm that they have received the certificate and order GCMS to be sure that they have not noted that it is missing.

Please guide.

Hi legalfalcon,

Thanks I received my notes today. I really appreciate the support given by team :)
highlights :-
1. Eligibility (11.2 A, r75,r76 and funds) - recommend to passed If it is recommended passed, then it is a case analysts's notes which will be confirmed by the agent and you will see this change to Passed or MEt.
2. Security - not started
3. criminality and medical passed.
Primary office CPCO , next due date 4june.
We have short single visits to UAE (1 week) and US( 2months). i can see under info sharing with US, NRT is mentioned for both of us. Is that means, security results are available ( no reportable trace) and it's just a matter of officer's final review ? Canada shares and receives information from its partners, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Since you did visit US, they have check on the system and did not find any trace.

Under groups- i can see a group number ,type as batch notes and status is in progress. what does it stand for ? i think it represents the batch in which my file is added for officer's review. Applications are classified in batches so that they are processed effectively.

Further I found 2 errors in Case analyst's review.:-
1. Calculation of FSW points - note shows 70, where as my points are 75. he missed to add point for Adaptability ( spouse ielts score - 5points). spouse is accompanying, mentioned in review. Do i need to raise CSE eventhough 70 is above threshold ?
Since you have been recommended passed and to pass you only need to meet 67 points, I would not advise to raise a CSE, for something which will not make a difference.

2. Annuall salary of my first company- actually i hd attached offer letter along with refer letter as it does not have salary details. Now in offer letter, yearly compensation is divided into 2 parts ( paragraphs) - basic pay and allowance. Analyst added only basic pay in his review, which further creates a big diff in salary comparison to 2nd company ( mentioned as basic+allowance). Should i raise a CSE or officer will have a look at offer letter to understand the Diff?
The salary is not a factor in assessing your application. The case analysts might have written it in the notes, but it does not impact either your eligibility or have any negative impact. So just let it be.

other than CSE, is there any fast way to reach out officer to explain these errors before he starts final review ?
CSE is the most effective, bit you can send emails and call IRCC. But they usually respond back with the standard answer.

Thanks Dear,
On security , could you pl suggest what is left, other than officer's review ?
Security is done by CSIS and not IRCC. If it says that your security is not started, then probably IRCC has not yet sent your file to CSIS, and they are working on criminality. As soon as your BGC goes to in progress, that is usually when the security is started by CSIS.

The agent review is pending for the eligibility.

yes that i know final review is pending by officer. other than that i was searching posts to know about s.16(1)c, which is there on the very first page of my GCMS notes. I read your comment, if your criminality is passed we need not to worry about it ?

For s 16 see http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/all-about-gcms-how-to-order-read-general-questions-answered.482200/

I don't see a problem with your file, things seem to be progressing well. The next stage is to find when you have an agent confirming the eligibility. Most likely by now you should have the eligibility met and the security started.

Hi,
change / amend end date of education.
i.e. From 2017/3 to 2016/12. Education duration still > 3years.
Thanks
That would not be a problem at all. You can do it.

Thank you Legalfalcon for the guidance. Much appreciated! In-fact, Astralsource has also posted a notification of IRCC that IRCC webform is the one that can be used to submit the document.

I will call IRCC helpdesk to connect.

However, could you please let me know what email ID should I use to connect to them?

Should I order GCMS on June 26, that would be almost 18 days after the CSE? Please keep in your consideration that my application was submitted on June 4, 2017. I have not passed medical yet.

Thank you!

The email id at which you can enquire - CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Ordering GCMS now, won't make sense as its too early. Wait for the at least 45 days post AoR and then order. Send the document by CSE and also enquire if they received the document a few days later.

All the best!

Nothing to worry. EE is not dependent on how much you make, but whether the points you are claiming, you can prove them. Salaries and incomes fluctuate for many people. Some applicant may start his own business and will see a sharp increase in income, but IRCC has nothing to do with that as long as you can adequately show that you were working for the company in the capacity you claimed for.

Thanks a TON @legalfalcon ....... appreciated buddy..

Hi Legalfalcon!
I am very distraught! Eariler today I received an email from CIC which states that I am no longer eligible for express entry. I have been in the pool since January of this year. The only change I have made to my profile was to remove my spouse's work experience since I wouldn't get any points for it!! Any suggestions please!!
