Hi @legalfalcon hope you are well, I need one clarification do we need to include child (Canadian Citizen) in the Appendix A, which needs to be submitted with passports for COPR?.

Look forward to your response. Thanks in advance.
I think you mean Appendix B.

Appendix B clearly states:

"Please complete this form for yourself, your spouse/common-law partner, and your dependent children who will accompany you to Canada."

If a dependent is already a Canadian PR or a Citizen, you do not have to include them.

Hi @legalfalcon, first of all thank you for all the work you have been doing. Secondly, I have a question regarding refusal year
I have applied for a TRV and have mentioned my US refusal but I am absolutely doubtful regarding which year it happened 2011 or 2012
It was 10 years ago and I went through a very traumatic time in 2011 and 2012 due to my mother suffering from very advanced cancer. I was 19 back then.

Now, on my visa application. I have mentioned US refusal to be 2012 but now I am absolutely not sure whether it was 2011 or 2012. I am really worried about ending up with a ban in this scenario for really just getting the year wrong. I do not have any paper that I could access to or even now to check the exact year of my US student visa refusal. What do you suggest, I should do? I am really concerned.

Any help would be appreciated.

hello @legalfalcon, I have been PR for a year and before PR I had study permit + PGWP. I was refused US tourism visa before and I mentioned it in all my Canadian visa & PR applications, but I just found that I put the wrong refusal date in all applications. My US visa was first refused in Feb 2015 but it was later approved in 2016. However, I put in the refusal date as 2014, since I didn’t remember the exact time when I filled in the forms, and I just estimated a time based on my memory. I recently found the previous US visa application form and noticed the refusal date was actually early 2015. Should I worry about that mistake in my previous applications? thank you
All you have to do is disclose that you have a refusal. You should be as accurate as possible. At this stage, your application has been approved and the file is closed. So no need to worry.

Hi @legalfalcon, I would like to ask, I applied for permanent residency last September 2020 under a regular FSW-EE, no LMIA, no PNP, just plain FSW using NOC 2133. Now a Canadian company is trying to sponsor me to get a work permit under NOC 2173, my question is would IRCC view this as misrepresentation if I applied for PR using NOC 2133, and now trying to apply for a work permit under NOC 2173?
It should not be an issue since your PR application is based on what you have done and your WP will be based on the work you will do, which can ve a different NOC.

@legalfalcon

I'm currently in Canada on a Temporary Resident Visa (Multiple Entry) and am planning to get married in Canada this year to my Fiancé who is a Canadian citizen.

1.Could I please know how my marriage would change my status with regard to my Temporary Resident Visa?

2. Would I have to apply for a visitor record extension after I get married and on what grounds will I be able to submit a request?

Thanking you in earnest for all your help!
1. It will have no effect. Your status will remain the same unless you apply for another status, such as PR, extend your TR status etc.

2. You can if you meet the requirements.

You can explain that you had a visa refusal and you are not sure of the year. It will be fine, you just have to disclose and if you are not sure of the specific time, you can explain.

Hello @legalfalcon

My wife (Primary Applicant) and I (Dependent) received the RFV email on 16th of November, 2021. We immediately sent our passports to the IRCC office in Delhi for visa stamping, my passport came back without a stamp, saying it was damaged and to re-submit a new passport, my wifes was received on 6th Dec 2021, with the visa stamped and COPR. I have since then applied for a new passport and received the same on 17th of Dec, 2021. Submitted to IRCC via the VFS global office, and the passport reached there on 24th of Dec. I have been waiting since then, while I have sent a few emails to the DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and also sent a few wed forms saying that I had re-submitted passport, for stamping with the new passport as an attachments in the email and the web form, there have only been standard / generic messages back. I am very anxious now and not sure if there is something else wrong with the submission. Appreciate if you can let me know what could be the reason for the delay thanks

Thanks for your prompt response. I have a question on that. So, since I already applied and put (2012) in brackets next to US visa refusal. The field did not allow me to type out more details on the application form. How should I disclose that I am not sure of the specific time since the application has already been submitted?

Thanks for the reply, one more item though. They are asking for my past work experiences, they say they need it to justify me being eligible based on the new NOC code 2173, which is under the GTS program. However in my PR, I used these same work experiences to prove that I'm under NOC 2133. So by using the same work experiences to justify two different NOC codes should be ok?

I’m sorry if this is not the forum for this query, but I need some of your guidance.

I applied for my parents visit visa this January from Pakistan to visit my sister who is in Canada and expecting her 3rd child, who need parents support. I have attached property documents of my parents and business registration of my father and along with my sister doctor’s certificate and invitation letter.
Today I got refusal letter stating based on family ties in Canada and in your country of resisdance. I showed combined bank statement close to 20,000 CAD.
What should I do next. Should I reapply or not?

@legalfalcon thank you for all the help you are providing us.

A few days ago I wrote to you about the request letter I received regarding PoF. Now I have collected revised documents, bank sheets etc, even got a letter from bank clerks stating that I have no outstanding debts or loans which I didn't have in my original application. I firmly believe that every point of their request is covered, but one. They asked for a written explanation of the source of the funds. I didn't make any contract with my father back in 2019 as I thought it was redundant - money was on my account more than 6 months, and still is almost 3 years after.

Can I explain the source of funds in LoE, or do I have to have something notarized/signed? Can I just say it was my savings, not a gift from my parents, and make things simple?

I just called IRCC and agent said she can see a medical extension till jan 2023 on the system. My medical has expired already and I cannot see the extension update on my IRCC portal.

Also agent said that I would be able to see this update on GCMS notes. any idea on this?

Do you mind telling me how you contacted the agent? Did you call from inside, if you called from outside Canada do you mind telling me the process. Thanks

Dear Legal Falcon,

I received today the request letterfrom CIC to submit the updated PCCfor all the countries resided in the past 2 years.

In Dec 20, received a request letter in which both medical and updated PCC was requested where I submitted the updated PC dated 15 Dec 20 by Apr 21 and in May 21 GCMS notes it was showing as CRIMINALITY PASSED and validity till Apr 2023.
Do I need to reapply again to submit the updated till date or shall I intimate CIC that it was already submitted and as per GCMS it’s valid till 2023

Kindly guide me

You can try using TextNow App or Fongo..they are paid apps that assign you a canadian number as you can't dial IRCC directly
